  1. Round 2. Retried the first red on a spoon, did the same thing. So now it is this color.
  2. I agree. If that paint is less than perfect for you it is 300% better than anything I have ever done. I raise my hat, sir.
  3. So i'm not the only one with the paint bugaboos.?
  4. Grumble, grumble... So what's new? The paint did not work ........again. Here we go ....again.
  5. That is absolutely beautiful and brings back memories of the one in my village. The owner dragged it to everybody's farm with a Fordson Major. Instant memories like this and the house are worth all the work.
  6. Fitted the rear bumper, it took quite a bit of sanding and filing. I think I'll leave the front one off to achieve this look.
  7. I wouldn't know where to start for those.
  8. My neighbor across the road asked me if I could build a replica of his friend's car . It is a 56 Ford Crown Vic. I'm planning to use AMT Kit no.6547. However, his friend's car has a continental kit. Where could I source this, short of making one? Also is that color Meadowmist Green?
  9. Working on the interior and the glass.
  10. I see. It is a junk BBC with the Nelson Racing twin turbo by Ron Olsen of Shapeways. PM me your mailing address.
  11. Do I have a Trmec transmission?
  12. Sam, you need one of these.
  13. I agree with Paul. I build for me and share with the mewmbers, if they don't like it, there's others to look at. Make it fun.
  14. Did some thinning of the resin panels to be able to insert the chassis. Opened up the hood, which is easier said than done. Attempted to duplicate the cutline off the 1:1 around the nose bit it was too thick there. So I ended up cutting the entire front fascia off then once separated from the hood I put it back.
  15. Happy new year everyone. I would like to submit this for approval. Autocar A64B + wrecker body + my scratchbuilt Holmes 750 .
  16. X2.I'm curious about the method.
  17. The chassis is taking shape.
  18. Carl, I have been there many many times over the years and I must admit you have caught the mood right on. You can almost"recognize" the scene.
  19. Narrowing the Avanti interior to fit in the football shaped starliner body.
