Amazing model. The first photo I thought was a reference, but no, that's the actual model!

Glad to see you're back on this. Will this have the white stripes on it?

Ethanol is basically a "synthetic gas" but for every gallon of ethanol made it takes 2 gallons. So it's not really economically practical. Ever notice how low the ethanol prices are? They're (the gas and ethanol companies) trying to get people to switch over to ethanol because "it's cheaper" at least right now, and then boom, ethanol prices are double that of gasoline.

Model Building Stereotypes
DynoMight replied to MustangGuy23's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I only know of one other person who builds in my grade (10th now) and he's my friend. The only reason he builds is because he likes cars and he's also into scale trains. His neighbor gave him two kits. AMT 68 shelby mustang (the red one) and also AMT re-issue of the corvette gasser (the green one) for free because he was moving and didn't build anymore. I don't know anyone else that builds models, besides my brother and his friend, but I think he gave up. My brother and dad and I still build, I build the most now because school is out and I have nothing to do, so I build models. I build models because it seems fun to me (at least most of the time, sometimes when I'm 'stuck' on a project, I let it sit and I don't touch it, but that hasn't happened lately) I also build models because when you're done and you did a good job, it is something tangible you can hold and look at, appreciate the time and effort that went into it. One time I had my friend over and I showed him my models and he said, why do you still have toy cars? I told him I built these and he didn't understand it. I think that some people understand it and have the urge to build models, but some people just don't have it in them. Not all people can sit at a desk for hours on end, painting and gluing little pieces together.. We live in a generation of "I want the candy bar now! I don't want to go to the store, I want it now!" and model building isn't instant, you have to work for the finished project, you can't have it now. And that bothers some people. -
Photos from a recent local Car Show

Wow that first car is awesome, same as all the others! See any AMCs there? -
My grandparents were driving through the Appl. Mountains in West Virginia and it was a really bad snowstorm, visibility down to like 3 foot, including your hood. And this idiot in a porsche come whipping up the mountain, and if you haven't been through W.V. the roads are all snaking, turning roads to get through the mountains. Well anyways, he comes ripping through the mountain going 30+, while my grandparents are going 5-10, because of the snow. This was in the late 80s, so not much traction control or ABS (at least I think) My grandma says, he's going to crash eventually, idiot. And sure enough they keep going and then turn around a tight bend and there he is, flipped upside down, missing half his car. They stopped, but they couldn't do anything for him (He wasn't injured, surprisingly), so they kept going... Smart enough the make the $$ to buy the thing, way to effing stupid to drive it. True words couldn't be truer...

I'm a fan of Cleveland. Not a die-hard, just a fan. But I hate how now we have Lebron; "We're going to the championship" How we have Manziel (who mind you, has never played a play in the NFL, and college is a lot different than the NFL, so if he thinks he can just run around and do stuff like he did in college, he'll get smashed. And also at A&M, he had a good team around him. It wasn't just him who was good; the whole team was really good [i don't know if you guys realize but we don't really have the best line... and Manziel isn't single-handedly going to bring us to the SuperBowl. He's going to need other people to help him. It's not like basketball where you can take a team single-handedly to the championship.] And also, he won the Heisman as a red-shirted freshman; which mean when he was a actual freshman, he didn't play. He won it as a sophomore, but was "technically" a freshman, when he wasn't, and the media ran with it and made it sound like he was a true freshman, which he wasn't...) and now we're going to the SuperBowl... As Jon Stewart said... It's kind of scary when the happiest place on earth is Cleveland.

Okay. Does the whole front lift off, I can't see a hood line... Edit: Just saw the hood line above the fender and in front of the door.

Wow. Paint looks perfect, the interior is spot on. The wheels, I love the wheels. The engine, fits right in with the car, same with the chassis... the BMF is wrinkle free.. I love this car. Great job.. This is the build that should be on the box

Very nice! I'll have to pick one of those kits up, I like the newer Mustangs...
-
I think it's a curbside... not sure.
-
Before it was okay, and then you re-did it and now, wow that looks good. Great save Tulio..
-
Always liked the old Jaguars.. nice paint! looks shiny..
-
Very, very nice. I think my dad has the same kit. Still hasn't built it though...
-
Wow looks like a real car. Were CRX's ever RWD, or were they only FWD?
-
Looks sharp! I've never built a 32. I'll have to do one of those soon..
-
They probably sent the letters at the same time and the Whites came up as the original owner, but the Lee dude came up as the guy who is storing it... But they don't know if the Lee guy actually owns it, but he was storing it, so it was presumably his... even though he doesn't have the title, hmmm... at least they got their car back.
-
Wow that's shinnyyyy......
-
That color scheme is one you can't go wrong with! Can't wait for this to be painted!
-
That color is pretty sharp on that. Hope to see more!
