  1. Sorry to hear about your setbackwith the interior. Keep 'er going....it's a great looking truck!
  2. Very nice looking truck! Great paint! Your roadway setting and background looks terrific!
  3. Looks cool! I love old cab overs! Tuned in!
  4. Very nice looking car Jim!
  5. Beautiful build! Super clean!
  6. Thanks again. My plan is to add the bumpers and the dash board/steering wheel. Ed opened the trunk lid, but I'll just glue it back in place. This car will go into my display case. I have a fresh kit of the '40 sedan that I can build later on.
  7. Thanks for the support guys! Truly appreciated! I went back to the bench and tidied up my mess, and I think I may have figured out a solution for the straps. Upsets me to be in the mood to model, but not in the zone to do it right! I've heard that patience is a virtue. ?...mmmm.
  8. Those tall stacks are way cool!! (TOO COOL FOR SCHOOL....)!!!
  9. Grrrrrr !!! Not my day at the bench ! Trying to install straps on my fuel tank.....what a mess I made ! Just put everything down and walked away. Going to have to go with another plan I guess. Grrrrr....
  10. I've decided to take your advice and just clean it up and find the bumpers etc. and put it in my display case with his "never finished" '49 Merc. Thanks for all the responses guys!
  11. The drip rails are beautifully crafted James! This will be a terrific looking car when you finish!
  12. Very cool! I like the louvers on the deck lid, not to mention the colour and wheel/tire combo!
  13. Very cool!
  14. Bumper cars. Wow! That takes me back to my youth. I loved them! You've done a great job on these, considering their small scale!
  15. That engine looks right at home in there Bruce! BTW.... (I'm sure someone will know the answer to this), but I'm sure I read somewhere that the first pickup truck done as a model kit was the AMT '60 Chevy, as an annual. Maybe Tim knows.
  16. Beautiful work as usual Tulio ! I wish I could build a model in 4 months !!
  17. x2. I like it better with the skirts off.
  18. Looks great ! Thanks for showing the guage of solder too. Good tip !
  19. Sorry I can't help you out James, but congratulations on having your model in print ! It's a really nice looking car !
  20. That is a gorgeous colour ! The whole truck is great !
  21. Thanks for your valued opinions guys. You're right, I should display it as is, in my display case. I'll find another someday.
