  1. The engine that Casey mentioned that's in the Matt and Debbie Hay T-bird is a 351 Windsor. It's a 1/25 scale kit, you can file down a 1/24 scale 302/289 manifold to fit it. It is a nice Pro Street engine. More Ford model kits that are worth buying for the engines are: Revell '69 Talladega, 428 Cobra Jet 1/24 Revell '69 Shelby, 428 Cobra Jet 1/25 Revell '70 Torino/Cobra, 429 Cobra Jet 1/25 Revell '70 Mustang Mach I, 351 Cleveland 1/24 Revell '70 Mustang Boss 302, Boss 302 1/24 AMT '69 Cougar, Boss 302 1/25 AMT '67 Mustang, 289 1/25 I have several of these kits on hand, most without engines!
  2. Excellent build, very smooth paint, great work on the doors n trunk! Really nice!
  3. Roy, Awesome Coupe! Great job getting that top to fit. I love that "69 GT500 too. Very cool color! They're looking really good, can't wait to see them finished.
  4. Great build Ron! Nice body work, that roof looks like it was born there, and those tail lights look awesome! Very Kool Kustom.
  5. Soooooo Cooool! That's one wicked Lincoln! Great build. Great detailing. That would sure scare some kids rumbling though the neighborhood! How 'bout sharing that White Mustang?
  6. Great build Pat. You've done an awesome job weathering your Duster, to the point that it's down right ugly! (I mean that as a compliment, seriously!) The little details like the bumper bolt rust, the open quarter windows and worn down tape stripes are terrific. The way you've fit the Duster body over the Viper chassis is outstanding. Did you use the Duster interior? And what a gentleman the way you answer and thank everyone. Thank-you for sharing your build. Roy
  7. Nice build, very cool. Those wheels are very '70's looking, I like them!
  8. So far, really, really cool! It sure has the right look. Perfect stance.
  9. "50 years of the Mustang" would be better, don't want no Cameros or Challengers sneaking in! I'm up for it. I've been looking for an excuse to built that '67 coupe I got from Motor City Resin Casters.
  10. Kinda cool Scotty! I think I knew that car back about 35 years ago, saw it cruising around Indiana, no wait, that one was full of rust! LOL Nice job dude!
  11. Very nice build you've got going there Blair. It looks great as a gasser.
  12. Sweet looking 'Cuda Tommy! Love the blue paint with white billboards, very cool.
  13. My wife scored me 6 1/8th scale model show cases and 7 1/24th for $11.00 for the whole lot. No scratches, except on one! Goodwill store in Indianapolis. One month later, same Goodwill, an AMT '57 Chevy, no tires, $2.00. Love Goodwill, love my wife!
  14. I agree Jason, it's kinda awkward looking, poorly executed. I think the bed should have been shorter, about like the wagon. Plus, why did they put the engine in the bed? Everyone knows the engine compartment will hold a V-8 with no problems! It could have been done better, but to each his own I guess.
  15. A Cobra with a 5.0 Coyote engine! Soooooo Cool! Thanks for sharing the photos Marshall.
  16. Very cool etching the center caps like that! Looks really good!
  17. Hey, it's a Mustang too! Great looking build Scotty! That paint job is awesome! Good luck finding another one.
  18. I Love Mustangs! They're the ultimate Car. Mustangs have been everything, an economical car, a luxury car, a sport car and a muscle car. Coupe, convertible or fastback. Sprints, GTs, Mach Is, Bosses, Shelbys, Cobras, Saleens, Roushes, Steedas. I'm getting all giddy now! My favorite is the Fox 5.0. I've had several. Still own two '91 Foxes, a 5.0 coupe and a GT. I'm still not sure which Mustang model kit(s) I'll build to take around to all the 2014 shows with "50 years of the Mustang" as their theme.
  19. So cool. It looks mean! Especially the rear view. Nice build Bruce.
  20. If it was me, I'd go 4x4, that truck is just screamin' "lift me, give me some giant tires"!
  21. Nice build Amanda! Not really one of MPC's best kits, especially the instruction sheet. That being said, I say you've done a terrific job with what you had. With a well manufactured kit, you'll do great. A couple pointers: You need to sand down the mold lines, like the ones in the middle of the tires and the fuel can. They're on just about every part. Use Elmers or some kind of white glue when you put the "glass" in. Super glue and model glues tend to fog the glass. Test fit the parts before you paint them and after you paint them. You can glue some of the pieces together before you paint them if they're to be the same color. (like body pieces) Google the vehicle before you build it to have reference pictures to go by for painting and part placement. Have fun and keep it enjoyable. You're doing good, and I hope to see lots more from you!

Nice looking Ford Scotty. Black paint + red wheels + white wall tires = Cool.
  23. Cool Mustang Scotty! That black and red interior looks good with that smooth black paint. Those wheels and tires give it the right stance. The tool box. cooler and the spot light are nice touches for that long road trip, along with that navigator. Great build.
  24. I like the factory 5 stars better. I think they fill the wheel wells better. You've done some really cool mods here. I always thought the Capris had great looking fender flares. I always thought they'd look cool on a Mustang but this is the first time I've seen it done, right. There are a couple early fox Mustang kits made by Revell that have the Capri fender flares molded in but they also have the regular Mustang flares also. I think yours look good, you nailed it.
  25. Wow, that's one beautifully built Galaxie! I think the paint looks smooth. The attention to detailing is outstanding. The way you detailed the interior by taking it apart was very creative. The driven, everyday look, has been very well executed. The way you've made the two models come together is fantastic. Someone who has never seen an AMT '64 Galaxie kit would never understand the amount of work that was put into this build. Outstanding build Modelbuilder Mark.
