  1. I do believe it is.......unless he has a twin at Ford, I remember seeing a picture of him in a 'Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords' magazine or a '5.0 Mustang' magazine years ago........Tim, can you verify this?
  2. Totally agree! Americans just don't seem to care where the products come from, as long as they get it cheap! They don't realize they're hurting the American economy. Hyundai and Kia have been copying other car companies designs for years. It doesn't surprise me a bit that China wants a part of it. I just hope Ford lawyers can put an end to all of this!
  3. The Hoosier Model Car Association will be holding it's 34th annual model car contest and swap meet on Saturday May the 3rd, 9am - 4pm. It will be at the Knights of Columbus hall at 511 E Thompson Rd, in Indy. It's just south of I-465 and right off of US-31. The theme this year is "50 years of the Mustang". They will be giving a special hand-made plaque for the best Mustang as well as for all the other special awards. Plus $50.00 to the "Best in Show". It's always a great show and there's always lots of vendors there from several states. Admission to the swap meet is $2.00, free for kids under 12. The contest costs $3.00 for the first model, $1,00 for the rest. Kids 16 and under only $1.00 each. Where else can you spend $5 for half a days fun, and get together with your modeling freinds and most likely make some new ones while you're there? So please come on out, you'll be glad you did! See pictures at: public.fotki.com/.../hmca-model-show-5314
  4. I always thought these looked like Japanese Mustangs! Check out that roof line with the built in rear spoiler, and the front bumper.
  5. Great to hear Brian, just look for the guys in red shirts with HMCA printed on them. Any of us will be glad to talk to you and tell you all about the club.
  6. Brian, I'm a member of the Hoosier Model Car Association (HMCA) based in Indy. We meet twice a month, 2nd and 4th Mondays. We get together at a different members house each each time. I live in Shelburn, south of Terre Haute, that's around an hour and a half drive, but it's worth it, we have a good time. We have our 34th annual contest coming up on Saturday, May 3rd. It's at the Knights of Columbus hall, at 511 E Thompson Rd, just off I-465 and US 31. You ought to come out and bring some models, browse though the huge swap meet and visit with all the fellow modelers. You can meet some of the HMCA guys too. It's always a good show!
  7. That's one sinister looking Mustang Tyrone! What an awesome build.
  8. Way cool Grzegorz! Great build.
  9. Lookin' good Dano! Since I'm hard of understanding, does the M.A.D. coupe come with a sunroof and you added the T-top? I love this build. Do you plan on keeping it close to stock, or are you going to modernize it?
  10. Cool Dave! Looks great so far!
  11. Sweet. Love the color! That's a sharp looking Charger Everett. Great build.
  12. Nice build Marcos. Your details look great. That's one sweet looking Mustang. I remember the first time I rode in a "brand new" 1983 5.0 Mustang, after that I was hooked on Fox bodied Mustangs, I still own two. Again, great build Marcos!
  13. Bob, it's not much of a gamble when the model looks this good! What a great model, totally awesome!
  14. Looking great Madman! Awesome build.
  15. I'm sure he'll like it, I do! Nice build.
  16. No wonder it sounded so good to you! That's awesome!
  17. I recently bought one of these kits from Motor City Resins too. How did you prep it before painting? It really looks great, especially in black, wow! Nice build.
  18. Welcome to the forum Rob, the more the merrier! I've sure learned a lot of new things from the members here, I bet you will too. It would be cool if you could come down to Indy on May 3rd and join us at the Hoosier Model Car Associations annual model car contest. You could browse through the swap meet, check out all the super cool models on display and meet and talk with the other modelers.
  19. Awesome pictures Craig. I wanted to be there, but couldn't. Thanks for posting them. Maybe next year. I'll be at the HMCA show on May 3rd. Thanks again, great pictures!
  20. Nice wood Art, real nice.
  21. Great looking build Marcos! We don't see too many four eyed foxes on here. I've had one on my "want to build" list for a couple years. Nice job.
  22. Purty sweet 665@213! I love the hood and engine compartment. Did you swap the front suspension, if so with what? Great build man!
  23. Wow, that's some wild bodywork! It really looks good so far. The suspension is looking good too.
  24. Awesome build Hawk. I really like the way you've kept the classic Mustang look while adding the modern drivability. Great color combo, and you did a nice job redoing the interior. Very good build, looks fantastic.
  25. Great rebuild Nick. Great looking interior, and those wheels look really good.
