Thanks Gator, here's the color. It's been fairly easy to work with but its still metalic and almost translucent so the base color needs to be right to get the look you want, so far white is working for this, even tried Greman Silver metalic and it was still to dark. -

That is going to look really nice, one thought however is that the ink on the PVC from that company can be real bad for bleed thru even after a wash with acetone, best luck I've had with it is to clean it with clear primer and QUICKLY followed with acetone. Just a thought. Keep up the good work?. Rich -

Not a lot new just got some color on the frame, wanted to get more done but ran out of white primer so it will sit for a few days until I get into town. Being reminded of the demons metalic paints have. -

Like said there are some very pretty areas in Montana but imo you want to be further west, closer to the mountains or on the other side. Google the areas around Flat Head Lake and on west that's probably more what you guys have a vision of ( Elmo is actually the area I would like to retire) but the whole state can get really cold. I was there one time with my dad and they wouldn't load the truck becuase the seed potatoes were freezing and shattering in the 5' from belt to truck. I believe that was out of Great Falls. Rich

That's funny Sean, hopefully your next stop is more exciting, it is desolate there though, I guess that shows those bird brains can be more intuitive than us people sometimes. Rich

You can put me down for the models of course, hunting, camping a little metal work, and straight razor collecting along with pocket watches. Here's a very small part of the razor collection. Rich

One of my wife's friends just called and I thought of this conversation, I don't know what the accent would be becuase she has lived in Colorado her whole life and her parents are from Nebraska, but she sounds like Boomhower from King of the hill, took me almost a year to figure out what she was saying!! Interesting topic, but let's try this on for size, my mother was born in Alton Illinois as were her parents, my dad Baton Rouge. My dads father was born in Kentucky and his mother in Iowa. Then along comes me I was born and raised in central Washington and north east Oregon. Everybody asks me what part of TEXAS I'm from??

Another great looking build you have going. How many tries did it take to get the thumbs up in that mirror? Rich- 47 replies
