Truck Kits You've Scored Recently
cowboy rich replied to Superpeterbilt's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
that would be a nice addition to the 780 kit. Nice kit just wish it wasn't curb side. Rich -

Is it just me and the fact I'm partly color blind or do these look the same to you guys, I know it's hard to tell from a picture just asking(becuase I'm irritated) Rich -
good question - i think
cowboy rich replied to bubbaman's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I think the carrier would be a good choice. I don't know why they don't tell us they are snap kits but A LOT of guys on here have pretty much taken snap out of it. I think it would be good for a first big truck. Rich -
BRBO Kenworth K125 **Finished**
cowboy rich replied to KJ790's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
The wheels look great! Is spaz stix kinda like Alclad where you want a lot of very light coats? The time I've tried Alclad so far I messed it up with to much psi and volume, just wondering if spaz is anymore user friendly. Rich -
From RC Toy to Lowboy Load
cowboy rich replied to redneckrigger's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
That's a good looking conversion, I was wondering what is ROPS my brain ain't working yet (blame night shift). I like your shadow box as well I bet ANY museum would take that with a BIG smile, looks like someone put a lot of time and work into it. Both are very nice. Rich -

Those are looking great Brent! I also like the heat discoloration. Rich -
Haha Elmer Fudpucker!! Forgot all about him time for some downloads. Definitely one of the best, if I was still in Cali I could knock the dust off some lp's and come up with a few others we haven't thought about in while. I know there's a bunch in there I couldn't post

Old home filler up and keep on truckin' cafe hasn't come up yet, or 18 wheels and a dozen roses, radar blues or truck drivers queen, I didn't notice pinball machine or truck drivers prayer. Rich

I can't get the video but was wondering if it said where the writer was from and he did, most are surprised. Rich

I agree they over played it, but it is about 3 days to run that 18 miles it is rough and beats you up pretty good. AND having been there myself there are other ways to go than the way they beat the heck out of those rigs, but even with that said most people that have been there plan for 4 days on the trail that's one place in California that if you didn't bring it, you ain't got it. I came across your previous update a few minutes ago I was hoping you would get one in for April. Rich -
My mother told me it's not polite not to share, so I let it go on by. I don't know where you are but it's going to denver tonight then to Kansas & Nebraska by morning. Sorry! Rich

Great more snow in southern Colorado, not sticking yet but it is supposed to hit low 30's where I am tonight. Rich

One of the areas I used to be in Californias central valley (2 bit dirt hole called Cutler) when I went to wort in the morning I had stop and listen before crossing the tracks becuase the fog can get so thick you drive one line at a time on the highway and can't even see the light on a train, it could get pretty sketchy. I like that floor! If you dont mind sharing I may use that on my 1/16 Pete instead of the veneer. It looks really good. Rich -
I also do not normally watch the show for the same reasons that have been stated I only turned it on last night becuase I lived at uncle toms cabin for six years and the rubicon trail was our backyard. It doesn't surprise me that the show isn't that popular with a lot folks seeing how most of it is just tearing up vehicles, and their main purpose was to do a street view for Google,IMO if can't get around there with a real map stay on the flat land. Did anybody see tonight's episode going across the rubicon, uncle toms cabin had a real short piece there, THATS where I used to live in California Rich
