  1. By far one of my favorite builds. Been keeping an eye on this for a couple years now. I bought a Gee Bee because of this. I didn't know there was a kit of it until I saw this. Can't wait to see more
  2. 4 banger for sure
  3. For some reason I think the AMT Ford Flareside pickup has Edlebrock valve covers, there's a chance they might be Holley though. I'm not sure where mine is right now since I'm moving otherwise I'd look in mine for you.
  4. Alclad is airbrush ready, doesn't work with a brush at all. It's so thin. Nice finish though. What did you use to weather the interior door panels?
  5. Looks great! I've been wanting to do this for some time now since I have so many model a bodies laying around. Amazing detail
  6. Awesome! Thank you guys. The explanations help so much more. I came up with the same pictures that you posted ace-garageguy but the schematic is the one that helps the most. I didn't see that one anywhere. Hopefully now I can get moving on my project again. I'm putting a ford nascar engine in salt flat 53 studebaker. Thanks again guys. -Mark
  7. Anyone have reference pictures of the plumbing on a late 90's Ford engine? Mainly the oil pump setup
  8. Looking good. I'm excited, I'd drive it if it were 1:1
  9. This is rad. I really like the weathering and the overall look of it. The chassis is nice too. I started working on one but got as far as scribing cut lines and started something else lol. Also, what kit are those seats from? I've had one for about 15 years and have no idea where it came from.
  10. Thank you everyone, hopefully I'll get to posting some progress shots soon.
  11. You're definitely right around the corner from me then, Wayne. Keep in touch
  12. I've had an account on here for about a month or so and still haven't introduced myself. My names Mark, I'm into old cars and occasionally will turn to the newer styles for fun. I live right on the coast which is a blessing and a curse. Fluctuating humidity ruins decals very easily. I haven't finished a car in years and I'm hoping the forum will be an extra boost of motivation.
  13. Welcome back, Wayne. We might be neighbors, I'm right on the coast.
  14. I'm not a big mustang fan but I think I'm in love with this one. I've been following along with this build for a while now and I can't wait til you finish it. You're tempting me to build one now too.
  15. @karbuildr great guy, I'll trade with him any day. He was missing some decals from a kit he traded and to make it up he included a bag full of extra parts. Great communication, honest, reliable, all around just a wonderful guy. Thanks again. If anyone has any snap kits they could let go of, let him know, he's looking for some.
  16. I'm digging this. I've been wanting to do something like this for years but never got around to getting anything to make it happen
  17. Does anybody know if a kit has ever been made with this engine?
  18. Looking good. I've been waiting to see some work on this. Glad you got a roof too
