  1. That's the one I hate most. Few songs will send me to the off button faster than that thing.
  2. More Spose. YOU post the title. I dare you.
  3. John Campy Cougarmelon. Is it called Rockin' in the USA, or something like that? One of my favorite songs of his. (Reminds me of That's What I Like About You.)
  4. Melanie, Candles in the Rain. Or maybe it's called Lay Down, I don't remember. Either way, it's another AWESOME song you just don't hear anymore.
  5. Let's see if there are any fans of a certain movie here. Feedin' the poor and helpin out wit they bills Although I was born in Jamaica Now I'm in the US makin' deals
  6. Bryan Adams, Cuts Like a Knife.
  7. Beatles, Taxman.
  8. When I hear that song now, I think of the SNL "four buddies" sketch they did to it. They did that bit several times, but I think this song was the first time they performed it.
  9. Very, VERY nice! I especially like the '67 Rally Wheels, plus the fact that you painted the non-frame sections of the underside primer gray, a detail many Corvette builders overlook (including me, on most builds). Did you use the kit tires? Hard to tell. (I really dislike the kit tires in all three of the Monogram 1/12 kits, which are otherwise quite nice, and have been looking for some good replacements.)
  10. Wow, I really like that--and it looks like maybe you got the front end to fit and hinge as well, no mean feat in itself. Well done!
  11. Oasis Married with Children.
  12. You've dodged a huge bullet. Good for you! Are you sure that's an MPC body? I don't recall the MPC dash being molded with the body as that one is. I think it's either AMT or Monogram, and the red color makes me think it's the latter (was the AMT '57 Vette ever molded in red?). If so, I think it's 1/24. It'll still be easier to work with than that 2-piece MPC backbirth.
  13. Casey Jones is my other favorite GD song, but I prefer Warren Zevon's cover of it on the Dead tribute album.
  14. I'm embarassed I didn't get that--my favorite GD song and one of only two I really like.
  15. Was it called Summer of '69?
  16. Are you planning to display the front end flipped? I ask because I'm working on one of those and the body and front end are the WORST fitting two model parts I've ever seen. I ended up gluing mine solid and using about a half pound of putty, epoxy, and superglue to get it all looking like it actually belonged together.
  17. I don't know the title or artist but Dennis Miller used to use that as the theme song on his old HBO show. Something about everybody wants to rule the world, or something of the kind?
  18. Indeed it is. I'm amazed it isn't heard more often. I have a vague recollection of it being used in a commercial some years ago, which reminded me of it.
  19. Very cool! I think she could also pass for Cher.
  20. Some Might Say, Oasis.
  21. Preach It, Brother Bob!
  22. Your cruel device your blood, like ice One look, could kill My pain, your thrill
  23. I've found that a good song for washing out earworms is Johnny Cash's Ring of Fire. You have to start with the mariachi trumpets, of course. Works every time for me.
  24. Oh, my! That's one of my favorite songs of all time (Donovan's Catch the Wind). Right up there with Ruby Tuesday. I don't know why someone doesn't cover it today and have a big hit with it.
