By the way,this incident happed a few months ago.Anyway, I have to add the rest of this ridiculous, but true,story.After about two months later,I get a packet from a DMV.explaining to me that I have to take an eye test,along with the written and road course.Plus a full physical,.And if I failed any part they were going to take my license away for at least a month.I know All this BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH sounds crazy.Anyway I took all the tests,passed them all,including the written test.Scored a 100 on that.I mean I’ve been driving since I was 16,and I’m now 52.So I know how to drive.Then the clerk tells me I don’t have to take another road test.So I ran the hell out of there, what a relief getting it all over with..I guess the cops and DMV wanted to make it appear that I was a crappy driver.Meanwhile I have 0 Pt’s.on my license.End of story.

He’s an older guy,in his 70s.He’s been slot car racing for several years.He also has three incredible ,realistic race car simulators in his living room.All his cars are hand painted and detailed.

I’m hoping the damage to his car came out of his pay.And trust me, the Suffolk county NY police can afford it.They are around the second highest paid police dept in the whole country.

It happened in the parking lot of a 7/11.I was leaving,he pulled up behind me with about 5 feet.He claimed after the incident that someone reported to him that it appeared that I was driving drunk.No I quit drinking years ago.And my Jeep isn’t the smoothest riding car.Like I said,they gave me a whole test,and I passed with no problem.Anyway his car sustained the damage,where I have a small mark on my bumper.I would guess his Sargent was annoyed with him for doing what he did.??.Too bad officer.

While backing up, a cop blocked me, and caused me to hit this car.I didn’t get a ticket, but they did give me sobriety check, which I had a 0.0 BOC.I blew out his window, and crushed his door in.Not much damage to my Jeep.And I wasn’t even pulling out fast at all.

I absolutely agree with you and your observations.Leaf blowers,while they do a job of gathering leaves,they really suck.And besides them being so loud,in my neighborhood,some crews start at 7:30 AM.??????

Yup,that sucks. I love watching those daredevils,and that’s what they are, daredevils, fly around that island.And for your Offroad rally racing guys,.I just read that this years Dakar Rally will NOT be canceled, but it will be shorter.Normally the race runs from 1/3-1/15.However I’m not sure how much shorter it will be, coming up this January.

Nice job.It would be cool if Baldwin Motion used this color on some of their cars.I grew up on LI,and I remember when I was a kid,having my uncle taking me there to look around.He always wanted one of their cars.

It was built by a friend of mine.Like I said,I told him I would post it for him.No matter how many times I tell him, he doesn’t go on this forum website.Don’t know why.He builds some nice models.I wish I could build like him.

I was recently watching the top ten Mecum factory drag cars.Wow,they were going for high 6 figures.Fords,Mopars,Pontiacs,etc.Very cool cars.Great job on your build.

I had to finally have my carpal tunnel syndrome surgery today.Not a fun day.I’m right handed,and of course it was my right hand.Now I have to keep the bandage on for 7-10 days.??????...OUCH!!!

68 Kill, anybody see this movie?Definitely a violent and strange movie at times.Actually there were some black humor.I I looked it. Anybody see TrainSpotting 2?Its twenty years later,literally.I thought it was extremely funny,and was better than the first,Trainspotting,another great movie.IMO.

Idk what’s with the Cutlass,looks like he added a whole can on Bondo to the hood.Yea there’s some strange cars that show up.I guess we will see how long the police and state let the show go on for.Again it’s on NYS DMV property.And people are doing the same old burn outs when they leave.The Sunday AM show originally started at Jones beach down on the south shore of LI,in case u didn’t know.And other parks in that area.Then the state closes it all down cause the virus.So they moved the show to an abandoned Macy’s,over during the later part of the summer.The show was bringing north of 1,000+cars.Now they are building a Costco,and the police shut us all down.Then we moved about two miles down the road to a bank.That lasted for about two weeks,until it finally came to the DMV lot.Keep our fingers crossed.??for it to last.And like I said,it’s about 5-10 mins from my house.**More pic to come**.

The virus basically destroyed the local Sunday swap meet/show schedule in my area on LI this entire season..However there were some good crowded cruise nights.Some organized and sanctioned,like the one at a local church.That show brought in 500+ cars in every week.And masks were a must.Then other where guys just that just met up..And now they moved the Sunday morning coffee and car,if you will,shows 5 mins from my house.Its being held at the DMV office.Off the beaten path,with no one to bother us.Before that,the Sunday show was down near Jones beach,a good 45 min ride in my car,so that’s why I rarely ever went.And I would’ve had to leave my house at dawn,no thanks...Now of course the cruise nights are over,dark at 4:30,but the Sunday show will go on as long as there’s no snow,salt or a lot of sand.Not that I’m going when it.s 20 degrees,No way.?Some recent pix.
