Monte SS,used the chassis/cage,and engine from the Mark Pawuk prostock

A friend of mine just finished this Monty SS.He used the Mark Pawuk pro stock chassis/cage,& engine.

Not exactly which one,but it will be one of the older pro stock kits,as suggested.

Again,I said before,it’s coming out great.

10xs?Man that had to be pretty annoying.Looks so low that it could’ve shaken the pictures off the walls.Don’t have any idea what kind it is,just that’s it’s pretty dam large,and low.I would assume it’s military.Is that a usual occurrence living so close to the airport?

Didn’t Barrett Jackson auction off this car a couple of years ago?If I’m not mistaken,the bids went through the roof,and the car sold for a lot of $$..Great job,great show.I always loved watching the famous Rockford reverse spin around.Lol.

Great looking Z,my neighbor had this same car when i was growing up,and that’s when i started liking them.Great job.

It’s a rebuild.Hopefully i can get it done.Maybe i won’t even repaint it,and sort of use the sand marks as Patina,lol.It’s got a few different paint jobs on it already.I’ve got to find a chassis and cage for it also.If i do rebuild it,I’ll probably go with the black wheels.And the windows from the 66 Nova kits fit pretty well.Like i said it’s a Shapeways 3D printed body.But i think they did an excellent job with the lines of the body.I did have to glue on the rear wing,but the hood and scoop are part of the molded body.

Idk why,but i always liked the early model Pintos,Vegas,Gremlins,and even Pacers.But as you guys said,and i completely agree,as the years went by,they got pretty ugly,all because the government mandated huge ugly safety bumpers,and stuff.Blaaa.

So I found this pretty basic 72 little Pinto.I Found it in one of my model storage boxes.Forgot all about it.I Cleaned and touched it up a bit..Just a shelf model.

Well it wasn’t today,but a few days ago I bought my first RC car/truck.I went into one of the last remaining hobby shops on LI and saw this K&N RC desert pre runner truck on sale.So I said what the hell and bought it.The truck came all ready to run,except the battery of course.I paid under $200 for everything.My buddy helped me set it up,and I’ve been thrashing around with it ever since.I added some racing stickers of my own.The thing is so fast.For now,until I get used to it,I’ll keep it on the medium setting.I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to buy one of these.

Yea,I really like the lines,& stance of the car too.Believe it or not it used to have a real nice paint job and looked really good.My plan is to sand the body,and try to apply a new paint job and chassis.Like i said I’ll see how it comes out.

So I know it doesn’t look like much,but I'm trying to rebuild this Nova.Ah,I’ll see what I can do.??

So I picked up my very first RC truck.Last week I went into one of the last hobby shops on LI,and couldn’t believe my eyes.This guys shop is incredible.He must have 100s and 100s of RC trucks and cars,models,train stuff,etc,etc.You can barely walk into the store.He’s got everything piled up on top of something else..I haven’t been there in about 5 years.It’s not a big store,and whenever I go in I always knock into something,???.Anyway,I saw this K&N pre runner desert RC truck,which just happened to be on sale.It came with everything,and ready to run.So I said what the hell,just buy it.It’s all charged and ready to hit the road…Now I’m gonna go to the vacant dirt lot down the road from my house,with my buddy and his good old Clod Buster Monster RC truck and race around.???

Cool,reminds me of the metal master Ian Roussel’s 70s trike he built on his show,Full Custom Garage…Yours looks great,excellent job.

Love the Family Truckster Cruiser,the wood grain,and double stacked head lights are great.Just need the aunt up on the roof.And yea i agree,also need Beverly D,Angelo,?.So yea any station wagon would be good to travel in.Just like when i was a kid,cruising down to Florida in my parents 72 AMC Ambassador wagon,sitting in the way back,facing the opposite way.And of course getting car sick.And being surrounded all around by glass,lol.Or if not a wagon,maybe a Bentley Spur will do.
