  1. I was going to go on about expanding the discussion to forming a model company, buying out old molds from MiniExotics and Fein Designs, hiring ppl on this forum, etc etc... But instead I'll keep it concise. I'd have a full detail of either the Ferrari 312P or 350 CanAm, probably all in plastic but included would be all electrical and hoses etc... A seriously full full full detail kit.
  2. BTW, the Fujimi carbs look great. Where did you get em?
  3. I read the Revell snap kit version will have ~30 peices and go on sale in April for ~$15. I can def afford that version I hope one of you wizards will do a full detail based on it.
  4. Well. from my understandimg it's simply an old kit, old tooling etc... I've read great reviews on there newest of releases like the Vette Gasser and Porsche 918 to name a few. Of course Tamiya is fantastic. And of course, expert looking build. I was tempted to get one but it's way advanced for me.
  5. Wow, this is actually brilliantly funny. Well done and thanks.
  6. Besides Bills amazing technology which I am privy to as well, I highly recommend a beer bottle. For some reason Corona Light works best
  7. That's good cholesterol though. Keep in mind that both our brains; between our shouders and legs are made up of cholesterol.
  8. Get em Bill, get em!
  9. Hell no, he's gems I learn a great deal from. Yo Bill, stay on yo puter.
  10. There are new studies to suggest that stress alone does not deteriorate health. Its what actions or habits result from stress which are the culprits. At any rate diet is key to a happy life in my opinion. If you want to pretend I am your doctor, then let me prescribe the following; 1 - Reduce as much suger as possible. 2 - Reduce as much grain as possible. 3 - Drink plenty of water. 4 - Eat 3-4 eggs poached every morning. Eat a whole avocado every day. 5 - Some, not much, fruit and plenty of any green veg. 6 - Meeeeaaaaaaaat and fish. 7 - Stretch 15 every morning after a warm shower. Or every evening before bed. I do it twice a day. 8 - Walk 10K steps every day, no gym required (smart phone app or Fitbit can track whti for you). The decay of a civilation starts with the mind, and a mind can be starved and twisted by poor diet. So, simply choose not to decay.
  11. Oh dayam! What a treat! I'm guessing that if you love cheese, then a nice potato-leak soup is also appreciated? My wife loves my Vichyssoise but I also love it warm as well.
  12. Oh, things may have changed but R&MofMD had the down and side draft carbs in his catalog. I believe they were 48 as well. I'll look next week and report back as its on loan to a buddy. PS You've a killer assortment of carbs, nice! As they say, one cannot have too many carbs!
  13. 8! Which kind? I too love cheese.
  14. Replicas & Miniatures of MD as well as HRM have them to buy. Once in hand, then you can try and dupe via Alumilite or SmoothOn. I bought some metal ones from Scale Production over in Germany before. I'm getting an LS Chap 2C kit which has metal Webers which I may copy. The problem is that the tall velocity stacks are integrated which I may not want. It might be cheaper just to buy em versus try and copy. Silicon RTV and resin are already incorporated into my workflow so it makes sense for me. I can't speak highly enough about HRM or Replicas & Miniatures of MD. Top notch products from top notch ppl for sure. Give em a call.
  15. Great info, thanks Matt.
  16. One could consider using U-Haul to ship your fromage. There storage containers are 8x10 and they'll drop em off. Then once you're done packing, they pick up and drive across country. You can simply buy a biz class ticket and enjoy a nice flight to your new home. One figures 2 containers per 1,000 sq feet of fromage once you've sold stuff on say Craigslist etc... Anyways, just some ideas.
  17. Hi, I see 2 Revell Porsche 918 Spyder kits; 85-4329 and RoG 80-7026. The first one mentions the kit having a V8 and 2 electric motors so very detailed. Unfortunatly no kit instructions seem available. The latter kit has instructions and I'm unsure if there are 2 electric motors in there. Does any one know?
  18. I've used Vaseline and will try baby oil in 2 part molds. When it comes time to drop in resin, I remove surface tension by a slight sprinkle of baby/talc powder. Seems like any petro based fromage would work to prevent RTV to RTV stickage no?
  19. Disney owns 2 of the largest Sci-Fi franchises of all time, pretty amazing.
  20. My understanding is that they will release episodes every 2 years. Then in between will be mini stories like a young Solo, a young Yoda etc... but next years mini story will be about the crack comando Seal Team 6 type of group who stoled the Death Star plans in the orginal 1977 rel being episode 4. Recall how it opened where Vader was looking for the Rebel spys who stoled em?
  21. Excuse me being the Johnny Come Lately here. But I'm very happy he is out of a coma. I'm a fan of his racing and Ferrari. I didn't know until reading this thread and verifying. Thanks for the post! This made me happy.
  22. Well, I love Tron, both the original and the sequal. So I love this car as well.
  23. Yea, talk about Occam's razor gone way way way bad. Leading an introspective life is un heard of. PS It would be a funny skit; Rod Serling; Picture a world were phones think for you... Were introspection does't exsist and all ppl think about are boners and boobs... You have entered... the year 2010's...
  24. No way! My inlaws live in SunCity Anthem.
  25. Wow, very cool man. Love the color scheme, very choice!
