  1. Me too. Whenever I'm having a really good day, I always have this nagging suspicion that I'll end up getting run over by a bus.
  2. In order to give some sort of visual variety to bottom area of car, chassis has received a base coat of Tamiya Nato Black. Rear end, springs, driveshaft and some suspension components, will be painted some complimentary shades. (Lousy photo, but until I get my light box setup, it's about the best I can do.)
  3. Good for you, Joe. Looks like I may be going curbside with this for the show here in May. OOB rules are pretty vague, but seem to prohibit several simple things I want to do with this, whereas curbside has no such restrictions.
  4. You fellas are pretty good at this. I'll keep digging.
  5. This is kinda' cool.
  6. Same here. I figure that whatever I do today on a kit, no matter how small, is something I don't have to do tomorrow.
  7. I was finally able to shoot some paint on the engine today. Not much of an update perhaps, but I am slowly making progress. Frame is mostly finished and awaiting paint, as is body and interior. I expect that the tires are going to be the worst problem, as they have horrible seams on them, but since I'm going box stock, I'm stuck with them.
  8. I took a stab at the old 1:32 Hasegawa "Hi-Grade" D-9 a few years ago, what an utterly horrible kit. It came out OK, but took a heck of a lot of work I can tell you that.
  9. A lot of the bombs were fitted with whistles for the same purpose. I have lots of photos, should you ever need any.
  10. As it turns out, I have a fair amount of references on the P-40. If you need any specific photos, please let me know.
  11. I like the shark, and the entire display is eye catching. I have the Dolphin kit to finish one of these days, but without the funky backpack.
  12. Cool little project here. For some reason, the GB reminds me of the Russian I-16
  13. I didn't even know until now that they ever produced any rifle kits. I have built a few of the LS 1:1 scale handgun kits though, and they're pretty cool.
  14. Not a bad idea at all, Joe, though the micro chisel is very handy for this sort of thing too. I'm not even sure the judges will flip it over,... but they might.
  15. Excellent.
  16. Here's one for ya'. It's been a long while since I watched this one.
  17. #1 75 Buick Century #2. 66 Grand Prix #3. 33 Willys #4. 70 Dodge Challenger convertible #5. 33 Ford 5-window #6. 29 Ford Phaeton #7. 74 Ford Pinto (don't laugh, I loved mine) #8. 95 Cougar XR7 #9 57 Chevy Nomad #10 Undecided
  18. I was finally able to finish emptying one of my two storage lockers (the larger one) today, and I'm thrilled to pieces to put that chapter of my recent move behind me.
  19. PM sent re: show in May.
  20. Looks good. I really like that trailer too.
  21. Sorry, multiplication malfunction.
  22. Yes, Techmod decals. I thought the base idea somewhat novel, being polygonal, as is the lozenge itself.
  23. Thank you. I like it too. It's the crummy (Techmod) kit decals.
  24. You've figured out how to live beyond 100? We need to talk.
