  1. That's an amazing cement mixer/ drug transporter.
  2. Looks awesome. Really nice weathering of the paint coats.
  3. Looking forward to watching your build. That paint scheme looks fantastic.
  4. I think the safest solution is to cast a new set in resin. Even if someone has a method for coloring the rubber it might not necessarily work your particular vinyl blend.
  5. Some people like collecting stuff; that's their part of the hobby. I know plenty of people with a couple hundred kits piled up. A kit might be worth twenty dollars to you. Someone else might see that same kit and be willing to spend two hundred dollars just to stick it on a shelf, that's how money works. It's not about what number you pay, but what you'e willing to pay.
  6. The Mack doesn' show up on their website (checked Saturday). It took my store over a year before they started carrying Tamiya primer when other people were able to buy it. Then again we did get the Minicraft PBM Mariner when it was released.
  7. I've never seen the 'egg-ships' before.
  8. Really like that crane and Euclid. Saw a couple, new, Westernstars being delivered today; never see those around here.
  9. That' an odd low, high, somewhere-in-the-middle trailer.
  10. Lovely.
  11. There's only so much you can do with 1980's styling, a pencil and a ruler.
  12. Considering there's a French flag on both sides under the E.U. flag...
  13. It looks pretty cool. Still looks more 'Car' than 'Rat'. Egh, maybe it's somebodies wife's car though.
  14. Never thought the hay haulers were unique. Guess that's life here in Cali. Just wait for the tomato harvest; the roads turn black!
  15. I just want to know why I/you/someone is at the dump digging through trash to start with. I probably would take it though if for some reason I was in a landfill and just happened to see one...
  16. Looking forward to following this. Eduard's stuff is so nice and I don't think I've ever seen anyone build one of the Royal Class bundles. Didn't Stigler actually 'escort' the B-17 until they cleared German territory as well?
  17. I was thinking the same thing, except I could even remember the name of it and one of my neighbors has one. Same issue with the Subaru Baja, as well.
  18. Basically Camero parts glued onto a Holden Maloo. Guess it doesn't look to bad but truck/car things have never really done well in the U.S.
  19. If you wanted a metallic finish you could have used Alclad. It looks pretty good, the surface does look a bit rough though.
  20. That 'Used Car' kit is just a way to profit off ruined sprues. Can't imagine the up-roar that would cause if it was issued today.
  21. The strech looks pretty natural; well done.
  22. Someone always has to do something stupid with their car... https://m.facebook.com/emodelsltd/photos/pcb.754892094618158/754891544618213/?type=1&source=48&refid=8&_ft_=qid.6127098266038372296%3Amf_story_key.623494447438149474
  23. What did you do for the black and red stripe? I like the texture. Not a bad effort, and it's certainly got a lot going on.
  24. When this topic comes up someone always suggests 'break cleaner' specifically so I figured I should mention this. Don't think I've heard any one suggest 'break fluid' before. Learned something.
  25. Really not a fan of show trucks or anything that's lowered to the point of uselessness, but this is pretty awesome. Well done.
