  1. Super clean build...reminds me of Dwight's T/A from The Office..even though yours has gold wheels and a tan interior.
  2. I have only ordered from him once and love his paint and clear. That's why I wanted to order again. His website has this on it on there due to me emailing him. This was not on there until yesterday evening. I know that this is his 2nd job...and I understand that. I also understand working lots of overtime. Used to average 78-82 hrs a week...so I get this.
  3. My first order from him only took about a week to reach me...which was perfectly understandable. But a month on this one is excessive. I did get a response back from him today.. He stated he knew the other order shipped last Saturday, but doesn't know why I haven't got it yet or the tracking hasn't updated. He will be sending me my 2nd order with my first order in with it. I'll be going with gravity paint next probably. Anyone have any experience shooting any Gravity Colors?
  4. Same here, If I haven't gotten a response by the end of the day today, I will contact PayPal and get my $48 back. Kind of sucks though, since I got 16 different colors for that price, and I had builds picked for all of them. I guess I'll go with Gravity or Zero paints. Any experience?
  5. Alright guys, I know Jameston is a busy guy and I get that. Just wondering if any of you ordered anything from him during the moving sale before August 26th? I ordered 2 boxes, 1 on August 22nd, and the 2nd box on August 24th. I got a tracking number for the first order on the day I placed my order. However the tracking number never updated to anything besides the label was created on the USPS website. I have emailed him several times, and the first email he said he was behind and he apologized. I understood, so I waited a couple of days and emailed back asking for an update. He didn't respond to this email, so I waited another couple of days and emailed again asking for an update. He stated he was sorry, and that on Saturday, Sept. 17th, he dropped off the package at the post office, and that I should see an update on the tracking on the following Monday. All week long, there was no update on the tracking, and I waited until Saturday and still haven't received any packages in the mail. I love his paint, and understand this is a side business. I hate to have to get PayPal involved, but it's been over a month, and I ordered this to paint some stuff for some upcoming shows. Anyone else had this problem, or ordered anything and actually got the package yet?
  6. Here are the pics of the interior. I also got all of the mold lines sanded down, ugly side marker lights sanded off, panel lines scribed, and the vents behind the door opened up. Just have to drill the holes to pin the mirrors, give it a good scrubbing in dawn and it'll be ready for primer.
  7. Correct the Stealth was the same car...different bumpers and aero kit, wing, and tail lights. I too have had one of the twin turbo 1:1 Stealth's. Awesome cars. I also have the Lindberg 1:20 3000gt and Stealth kit. Haven't built them yet though.
  8. Wanted something for a quick build, and this being a curbside.... I figured it would fit the bill. So, I started on this last night. It is already coming along extremely fast. I have the interior complete (just didn't get a pic after I detailed the the dash and door panels. Will get one tonight) Plan on using the pictured Aoshima Advan GT wheels, and paint it like the pic below. I've had 2 of these cars 1:1 before, but never a Fiji Blue car, which was always like a unicorn to me, lol. Paint will be from Scalefinishes, and is indeed the correct shade of Fiji Blue. I do plan on adding a Front Mount Intercooler for looks, and lowering the car, possibly a different exhaust as well. I also didn't like how the kit had the gills behind the doors blocked off (extremely hard to detail paint black correctly like the 1:1) so I took my Dremel and got to work. I plan on taking a thin piece of Styrene, painting it semi-gloss black, and gluing in behind them before the body goes on the chassis. The mold lines on this thing are horrible, as well as the ugly side marker lights. So, I plan on removing those. I worked for about an hr on one mold line on the front bumper last night to remove it without removing details. Pictures later on that. Interior color is airbrushed Tamiya German Grey (looks much darker in person, will get better pics before underglass) Always wondered why Tamiya makes such awesome kits, but leaves this stupid hole in the backs of their front seats. Fixed
  9. Can't wait for this show. This was my first show last year, and I loved it. Working on some new stuff to bring as well.
  10. Thanks! That sucks, lol.
  11. Anyone got Issue #202 in the mail yet? It's the contest issue and I've been patiently waiting to see if my build(s) made it in from the SCMA show in January. Keep expecting to go home everyday and find it in the mailbox, but no luck yet.
  12. It's a shame you can't remember the color, because it is awesome! What kit is this, I'll have to get me one.
  13. These wheels are from Steven. When I ordered, I ordered 3 pair, 1 of these and 2 pair of torque thrusts. Most definitely will be ordering more from him when I use these up. Great guy to deal with.
  14. Thanks man! Yes I did have to paint them, the wheels come as a 2-piece and are raw. So I had to fab up some pins to mount them, as well as the depth to glue the faces for my offset. They are finished using Alclad II Chrome over a Tamiya Gloss Black base. Feel free to check the build thread out, it shows the wheels during build process. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/111225-tamiya-mk-iv-supra-single-turbo-under-glass-8-27-16/ Thanks Jonathan!
  15. Awesome build, the paint looks awesome, and the stance is perfect, also very clean coyote swap! This makes me want to build one!
  16. Awesome build! I've been wanting to build one of these.
  17. Awesome build, I have a 1:1 Evo 8, never been a fan of the style of the X. But this build is awesome man!
  18. Awesome build. Love that flathead...not many done with one.
  19. Thanks Michael. I agree, Toyota shouldn't have stopped this car. There has been rumor for a while about it coming back, but it will probably be like the NSX if it did come back.....not look anything at all like it used to.
