  1. I'm sure getting that feeling... I don't know how long Revell/Monogram thinks they can keep reissuing the 1:24 Road Runner!? BTW, Road Runner is spelled ROAD RUNNER... not GTX!
  2. Whoa... now you've given me a chance to say... "Don't hold your breath!"
  3. Wouldn't it be nice if we could get a brand new version that uses all of the modern technologies? Otherwise, I probably should start looking for an older release...
  4. My point is to get one in 1:25 and let it be a new release so that it won't be stripped of its goodies so that they can make more money on an OLD tool!
  5. Well, I don't know if this qualifies, but it seems Revell did a new tooling in the 68 Charger RT... or was that one that had never been done before???
  6. I guess I won't be holding my breath... Are you building the LATEST release of the AMT 68 RR - released by R2?
  7. Well, here we go again... answers are pouring in... About my post? Not even close! My question was in regard to Road Runners, and why there are no really great ones in the pipeline... You homed in on my comment about the latest AMT Road Runner, and jumped at a single word! As if that was the whole point to the question! If you want to participate in this post, please address my question. OK? That goes for the rest of you guys, as well. Please don't fill up this thread with off-post arguments.
  8. Wow - I'm going to have to try that!
  9. It could be that we're getting a bit mixed up, here... Was the original question about Acrylic Lacquers & Enamels, or the Wicked Colors kind of acrylic, that is pure acrylic through and through?
  10. I've been hoping for a new Road Runner, and it just doesn't seem to be happening - the only product Revell offers is the 1:24 issue by Monogram, which is cheap but is also pretty stripped, and it really looks huge compared to my 1:25 Camaros. When will someone announce a new Road Runner... and perhaps a return of all of the other iconic muscle cars?
  11. Didn't you say that Black Gold is just HoK repackaged in a spray can?
  12. What is the clearcoat - acrylic or their synthetic lacquer?
  13. Nick, does the same apply to HoK in a spray can? Will it still require a coat of clear, or can you simply polish it to get the shine? With Kandies, I am guessing you still need to start with white, silver or gold...
  14. This was very helpful! Thanks!
  15. OK - here's another question... The HoK paints at TCP Global are all pre-thinned... They are probably pre-thinned for use by normal customers, ones who will be using the designated spray guns (1.3-1.5mm). Obviously, these would still need to be thinned/reduced in order to use them with a .5mm airbrush... correct?
  16. Where do you get 2-4oz bottles that are not pre-thinned?
  17. Well, I guess I had gotten confused because you said the "new" release, and the 1970 Impala leaped to mind because it is very new... Oh well, no biggie!
  18. Hmmm... had to think about this one awhile... If the gases are there to propel the paint out of the bottom of the can, then you would think the gases would all be expelled during the spraying process!?
  19. OK - I have another question... or 2... A needle/nozzle of 1.3-1.5mm is recommended with HoK... Since most airbrushers don't have such equipment (I'm lucky that I have a Badger Crescendo with a 1.5mm setup), what size do you guys who airbrush HoK use? And if it's not 1.3-1.5mm, how do you get it to atomize correctly (please remember that we're talking about the 4oz bottles, which are pre-thinned at the factory...) Do you have to use HoK reducer?
  20. Whoa... that one isn't exactly "new", is it?
  21. Is this the one (can't tell if it's from the military line or not)...
  22. Do you mean the '70 release... Here is the decal sheet...
  23. I tried to replicate your order and came pretty close... Notice in the lower-left corner, you have 2 "free" choices for shipping?
  24. Can I ask which 1-component clear you use?
  25. Jed, will your airhose work with the Anthem? If so, you can obtain an inline moisture trap made by Badger. However, I still suggest a pressure gauge, and for that I'm going to let others recommend solutions...
