  1. Another Dart for my stash is in order. Other than that I am good this time
  2. Wow!
  3. Nice looking Mopar
  4. It's looking good. You are very welcome. Just touch up the chipped area with a chrome pen
  5. It does look a bit brighter but should be a good 50's color. I'd try on a scrap piece or body first to sure you are happy with it. I have a few bodies with many many coats of primer/color, primer/color ect ect.
  6. Looks Great. Nice to see you removed the incorrect rear roof trim.
  7. Rustoleum Modern Mint is very close.
  8. It doesn't need to be changed, changing it just gives the kit a better look. Unfortunately none of those are mine, but I do have a 64 a 77 and an 82 Thunderbird
  9. the 53 is close but the front suspension is totally different. FYI
  10. AMT did a very nice 56 Thunderbird and it has a separate grill. The actual front clip on 55-57's is the same other than parking lights and bumper The grill is the same on 55-57 Thunderbirds but the grill looks different on the 57 because of the bumper and wider trim. Below are pics of 55-6 (red) and 57 Thunderbirds. The grill opening is the same just looks different assembled. To make the 57 better you need to remove the grill from the bumper and get part #47 from the AMT '56 That being said, the surround trim on the 57's grill is wider, so you could compare the kit piece and correct if you want. I am trying a Revell 56 grill in a 57 kit. I am attaching a new surround to the body trimming the grill (it is 1/24) and installing the grill from the rear.
  11. It is looking good! Great improvements. I have several of these but have yet to finish. Now, just some info if anyone wants a more accurate build. 1) The 56 Ford Victoria has the correct frame/suspension just needs the X member and shortened. The AMT 56 Thunderbird is correct also. 2) The front fenders extend behind the bumper, some trimming on the bumper and extending the fenders help it out. 3) you can cut out the grill and surround and use a 56 Thunderbird grill. Grill is the same 55-57, just bumper differences. 4. Personally I am still trying to figure a tail light fix. The bezel and tail light from a 57 Fairlane is the same on 1:1 cars, The Thunderbird kit lights are undersized. As an FYI, your air cleaner is backwards.
