  1. The movie/TV car I wish was kitted.....
  2. The multi piece body was an issue for me, I ended up filling the seams and sanding it smooth. Before paint I used some rivet decals to replace sanded rivets.
  3. As title says, I am looking for a stock '51 Chevy grill. also looking for a set of '57 Ford headlight bezels. Perfer AMT but the Revell ones will work also. Thank You
  4. I'd probably end up with a case of these on the shelf. The '62 Galaxie would be great to see also!
  5. Nice one... The color screams 70's!
  6. Your imagination and "I can do it" attitude really astounds me. Good job
  7. Lookin good. If you do another, someone on Ebay sells the taillight panel with clear red lenses.
  8. Thanks A LOT! After seeing this build I had to buy one!!! Stash keeps growing! Yours looks great!!!!
  9. Most are horrible, but also most have cool things going on
  10. PM sent
  11. Not on the road, but at a local restaurant
  12. I pulled a kit off the shelf of doom that has been boxed for several years and the chrome has turned yellow. Anything I can do with this or do I need to replace the chrome?
  13. Another nice one coming along. Your wheelbase "fix" looks to work well. The pic of the 1:1 shows them a bit forward anyways.
  14. The size of that rear axle looks extreme and many have questioned it but it is correct. You did a great job detailing it.
  15. Looking for the optional dual quad intake from the Revell '69 Shelby. Needing both pieces (parts 81 and 82 on the instructions) Thanks
  16. Wish I had seen this sooner cuz I'd have recommended you cut off the bottom of the front fenders and used the valance from the AMT kit. It is more correct than the Revell "thing" Lookin' good tho.
  17. Understood about the jambs, Personally I would be scared to death to mess something up after a sweet paint job like that. You are more brave than me!!!!! LOL As for the valve covers, I get it. Some things I am very familiar with and others not so much. For the not so much I will research pics of the subject for my own satisfaction, not that everyone has to do that it's just me. Looking forward to the final product here. I have an off-and-on '64 Custom Mercury I am working on myself.
  18. She is looking good. I like what you are doing and what you have done. A bit shocked all the fitment want done before painting tho.
  19. I agree with Can-Con on the valve covers. Also the Mercury would be a rear steer, not front, but I see you modified the oil pan for clearance. Question, what are you doing about the door jambs? I think that would have been addressed before paint. She is looking pretty cool tho.
  20. Solid 9..... Good job
