  1. Well done!! That is one great looking engine bay, great detail throughout. The window sticker is a good idea( that I may borrow myself )
  2. Love the paint scheme. Well done!!
  3. I picked this up as soon as I found out it available. Building a B/M Chevelle has been on my to do list since Bill Coulter did some years back. This one looks good with the addition of a platform interior and great looking side pipes and the appropriate B/M gear. The only negative would be the lack of Crager wheels. Cant wait to build this one.
  4. Love that car, great job!
  5. Try this. You use it full strength right out of the bottle. I love it,. great stuff.
  6. Man that looks great! I love the purple with white interior, it's very striking.
  7. That engine compartment is top notch! Thats one of the best Superbirds that I have seen. Great work.
  8. Great build, I like that.
  9. I would like to have that one on my shelf, that looks great.

Man I graduated in 92 as well, and I would have driven the hell out of that car! Good stuff.
  11. Black cat indeed! Great job.
  12. I use a thin square of styrene and cover it with foil, or paint to match the belts.
  13. That is going to be sweet!! Great project, love the paint.
  14. Thats the ones I am getting. Thanks guys.
  15. Hey that looks good. It nice to see someone building that kit, I never see those built up anywhere. You did a good job, captures the 70s.
  16. Thats what I was looking for, thanks Ryan.
  17. It would be easier just to buy the right kit but I dont want to pay collectors prices. I may end up buying one and reselling it after I have copied enough bumpers in resin. I did see some 77 vega bumpers @ Modelhaus that may work. They look about the same.
  18. I am wanting to adapt a Monogram 78 Camaro kit to represent the 77 model. I can do most of the work but I would rather not scratchbuild the bumpers. Does anyone offer these in resin?? I want to build this-
  19. How long ago was it put together? That can make a difference sometimes. You could put the model in the freezer for a few hours, and if the glue isnt too heavy it ought to pop apart. I also think I heard about using mineral spirits on testers but I am not sure.
  20. I am one of the guys here that still uses rattle cans in the garage or on the back deck. I have an airbrush but I havent built a suitable booth yet. Anyways when I spray in the garage I just bring the model inside the house after laying on a coat of paint. Nothing fancy. Helps keep the dust out of the paintjob.
  21. Now thats more like it!! Well you are of to a great start, I will be keeping a eye on this build for sure. I have wanted to do something similar but with cuda or challenger.
  22. That is sweet!! I have like to have one of those on my shelf. Great job.
  23. Welcome back m408. To touch up those missing areas on chrome, try Bare metal foil. It is thin aluminum foil with adhesive on the backside. It works great for those kind of things. You can order it online or buy it at your local hobby shop. As far as glues go, try epoxy. It allows more time in parts positioning and doesnt fog chrome.
  24. That looks excellent, great work. I plan on building that kit myself, did you run into any issues?
