  1. That's a real sharp build. Those wheels really set it off.
  2. Thanks for the link Ken-that sure beats Ebay prices.
  3. I am trying to ID a kit I have been looking for. I had a vague memory of trying to build (unsuccessfully lol) a robot/motorcycle kit as a youth back in the 80's. Just today I found a picture of it but no information. Is anyone familiar with this? Thanks.
  4. That is very nice work and a clean looking build. The red paint with the charcoal bird really look good together. Are those Keith Marks decals?
  5. Looking good - where did you source the turbo from?

    Death Race

That is VERY nice. Excellent weathering job.
  7. I just won an mint MPC 1974 Camaro kit for $20 on EBay! I am happy to say the least, I have had a 74 and a 77 conversion in mind for some time.
  8. Fantastic job James. The whitewall on the tires backside is a perfect detail that I haven't seen anyone do yet. Excellent weathering as well ,very realistic.
  9. It does my heart good to see 2nd gen F bodies being built up. Looks like you are off to a great start so far Chris. Keep it up-also where do you plan to source decals from? Are the stock ones included in the kit any good?
  10. That looks d**m good , like a high school kids wet dream! Where did you source the traction bars from? Scratchbuilt?
  11. Thats too cool! Nice build.
  12. Thats really cool. Whats the story with the driver figure?

Great looking stuff Bruno. Any chance of getting a rundown of how you made the luggage rack? Did you glue the pieces together or ?
  14. Don't go too fast or it might fall apart! Looks great.
  15. That Goat looks great. That's not the best kit in the world , and yours looks sweet.
  16. Thanks again. The kit is the Testors 1980 Firebird kit #4083 or 4086. Its a basic snapper with a lot of problems. The interior and chassis are shared with the companion Camaro kit. Not a bad start for a curbside build though. The article by Damncranky was in Model Cars October 2008 #135. His example looks much better than mine.
  17. Your best bet is to get the Monogram 1/24 78 Firebird 3n1 kit ,and use the front and rear clips from the Testors 1980 Firebird kit. The front ends were the same from 79-81 , so you should be ok.
  18. Don't be ashamed to show your work here. That kit is indeed rough to begin with , but you did just fine. Tell ya what - if you want you can send it to me.
  19. That looks awesome! I dig the driver and copilot figures. Good work.
