  1. Very nice work!! I've been wanting to build a tractor myself.
  2. Wow!! That is looking great!! I like yellow almost as much as JT likes orange.
  3. It was a very pretty day, and I was itching to paint. Believe it or not the paint turned out pretty good the first go around. IMG_2110 by Brian Smith, on Flickr
  4. Functioning door latches, now functioning hood latches. WOW!!!!!!!!!! INCREDIBLE!!
  5. Very Impressive!! I didn't realize that the round 2 release was a different body than the MPC. The original MPC release had the 500 back glass. I never liked that. I like what all you have done here! This is one of the best General Lees that I've ever seen. Great Work!!
  6. Very nice build!! It's always great to build a replica of something that you've had. I had one of these as well, but it was still 4 cylinder Isuzu powered. It had a 2 inch body lift and a saws-all and sledge hammer allowed the tires to fit without rubbing.
  7. That's the grill that came in it, but it is bowed pretty bad. Thanks for all the comments guys!
  8. Here is a couple of photos Sam. I thought that I had more. If you click the photo, you can go to my Flickr page and see a few more. Most of them will enlarge if you click on them. As you can tell there are a lot of colors involved in the build up on them. FullSizeRender(28) by Brian Smith, on Flickr IMG_1828 by Brian Smith, on Flickr
  9. Looks good Sam! I've got some pictures of the ones that haul out of the pit here near my house if you need any more reference photos.
  10. Just made a great trade with Carl Slusher "slusher". He's a great guy to deal with! Highly recommended!
  11. Looks sharp!! I really like what you've come up with! Great Work!!
  12. Thanks Terry! I haven't decided yet. I considered the 359 for the air ride, but I may just use a Freightliner. I've been repairing spots myself. The window flash was thicker than the cab in some places.
  13. Thanks Jacobus!! This cab is extremely brittle. It is hard as a brick. It was a major task just to get the flash out of the windows and from the back. The flash was even as hard as a brick. The only benefit that I can see to fiberglass is that it is very light, unlike resin. Here's my progress so far. I hope that I can finish it without breaking it. IMG_2095 by Brian Smith, on Flickr
  14. That is one sharp GTX!! Great work! I like the color!!
  15. Excellent job on one of my favorite cars of all time!
  16. Thanks for the comments guys!!
