  5. Thanks Guys!! And yes, I think that I'm going with the black hood. Here it is with the side stripes: IMG_1998 by Brian Smith, on Flickr
  6. Thanks Guys!! I got a little paint on the body today. I'm pretty happy with how it looks. JT if you're tuning in to this one, tell me if you approve of the color. I'm still not sure if I'm going to paint the hood black or orange. 7. Sharp looking build!! It takes me 4 hours just to get all the parts out.
  8. I posted this here since it's closer to an S.U.V. than a car. This is a little project that I've been wanting to start for a while. The car is AMT 76 Gremlin. The chassis is the Monogram Jeep CJ 7. The engine is a combination of the two. It's had an axle flip and lift blocks added. I never liked blocks on the front of the real thing, but with the axle flip, blocks allow a little more room for the steering. Here's what I have so far: IMG_1989 by Brian Smith, on Flickr IMG_1988 by Brian Smith, on Flickr IMG_1986 by Brian Smith, on Flickr IMG_1985 by Brian Smith, on Flickr

  17. Wow! That is impressive work!! That scratch built body looks slick!!
  18. Build two engines and call me in the morning.
  19. Very Nice!
  20. You are definitely the engine man! Nice work!!
  21. A special thanks to "Landman" Pat St-Martin and "Gotnitro" Jeff Bulmer for helping me out with some lights and a horn. Both are great guys who were willing to help. Thanks again!!
  22. Thanks Andrew!! Thanks Jim! I agree. I wish that I had room right now to display some trailers. I remember seeing a lot of those trailers back in the day. Thanks Dennis! Thanks Warren! Thanks Sam! I've told you before, your builds look a lot better in person than mine. I would hate to leave with my head hanging in shame. Seriously though, if time allows, you may be seeing it this fall. Thanks Terry! Watching your builds have inspired me to try fabricating a lot of things that I would have never tried before. Thanks Dan! I have a Dodge in the plans for the future too. Be sure that I'm taking a lot of notes from you. Thanks Mike! Thanks Phil! Thanks Dave! Thanks Anthony!!
  23. Thanks JC! Thanks Pat!! Does that horn look familiar? Thanks for the help! Thanks Rick! I'm a big fan of old iron. As far as craftsmanship, if you would have seen the way that I was shaking trying to finish this thing, you would have probably advised me to try a new hobby. Thanks Larry!! Thanks Jim!
