  3. Looks Great!! The shorter version does look better. Great work!!
  4. Thanks for the compliments guys!! Thanks Rick, I have two of the STS cabs myself. The two together cost less than I paid for this one. Still I decided that this would be my practice cab. I hope to use one to build a model of the first truck that I ever rode in if I can come up with some decals. I'm just about finished with the chassis. I added the shocks, throttle rod, front brake hoses, intake pipe and a few odds and ends. I still have to plumb the rear brakes and add tail lights. Then I will finish the cab. Thanks again for all the kind words and encouragement: IMG_1874 by Brian Smith, on Flickr IMG_1875 by Brian Smith, on Flickr

  9. Ooo I like it!!!!! Excellent work!!
  10. Thanks Dennis, Mark, and Gator!! I got some paint on the breather assembly. It's not perfect, but it'll work. Here's the real thing: IMG_0475 by Brian Smith, on Flickr Here's my attempt to replicate it: IMG_1863 by Brian Smith, on Flickr IMG_1865 by Brian Smith, on Flickr
  11. Very cool build! Back in the 80's I saw one similar to this (it was 74 body style) win the mud bogging competition at the Greensboro Colosseum. I've been planning something similar on a Jeep frame. I hope to get to it one day. Great work!!
  12. Looking Great! What engine are you using?
  13. Looking great!! This is one of my favorite kits. I built one about 18 years ago. Keep up the good work!
  14. It's your build, so whatever you decide will come out great I'm sure. Since it's a gas burner my vote is a single tank under the tank body with an access door. This tank style seemed to be common among gas burners. 15. I found this motivational picture: http://media.fotki.com/1_p,wqkbwfrbtkfsdwqxfffkttkrsdb,vi/fqwbfrtfxsbqgdbfkrxbsfsskdbq/1/117425/4901611/IHRline3-vi.jpg
  16. This site has been acting a little funny too. Since I've switched I've never had a problem posting photos, but once in a while when I post a comment it will act slow then double post.
  17. This is going to be good! I never was a fan of these boxy trucks like the Dodge L1000, 7400 White, and Early W9000 Ford while they were on the road regularly, but now they are my favorite!
