  1. Thanks for the complement, but you have a way of making your builds look real!
  2. They're from Meng. I think that they scale out at about 3/4".
  3. Cool project! What's the wheelbase; about 400"?
  4. Thanks Rich, but you would probably do a better job than me. I worked on the air breather (wall furnace style) and filter assemblies today. IMG_1862 by Brian Smith, on Flickr
  5. I always like looking at your engines!
  6. Looking excellent!! Are you going to remove the cage bolts from the brake chambers? I'm looking forward to seeing more of this one!!
  7. Looks like this is going to be another great build!!
  8. Looks great!! I like old school trucks!!
  9. Sounds like a great project!!
  10. This will be a great build! I always liked these trucks!
  11. I'm pretty sure that it'll be Detroit powered, but is it going to be a day cab, sleeper cab, or maybe a double sleeper cab? Don't leave me hanging Sam. I'm sure it will be great whatever it is. Looking forward to seeing this one come together.
  12. Thanks for all the comments guys!!! I worked on opening up the lower grill and making an upper grill. i also finished the shifter assembly. IMG_1860 by Brian Smith, on Flickr IMG_1861 by Brian Smith, on Flickr
  13. Me too, mines an 84 K20. Looks great so far though!! Tom, I gave up on Photobucket and switched to Flickr. I stopped having problems after that. I was having trouble even loading pictures to Photobucket.
  14. Dave, I'm real impressed with this cab! It looks great! You have done some awesome work here.
  15. Excellent work as usual Ken! I like your color choices!
  16. You can see a picture of this conversion on Sourkraut's website under hood conversions on page 6. The best that I can tell with this conversion you will have to use the headlights from the 378 kit (unless you're wanting a different style like round headlights). There were Peterbilts like the 377's even in 93 that had the headlights in the fenders. I'm no Peterbilt expert for sure, but if you are trying to depict a 379, I think this conversion would work fine. There were however various versions of Peterbilts made in 93. You probably already know this, but there were also two hood lengths on the 379. Gary's conversion is for the long hood. Look at the picture and see if that is what you're looking for.
  17. Most of my H model Mack pictures were transferred, but not everything. I still have an open Photobucket account, but Flickr just seems to work much better for me. I will say that adding Ad Block helped with Photobucket's performance a lot.
  18. I switched to Flickr and now I don't have all the problems that I had with Photobucket. Looking great by the way!!
  19. Thanks Rob, I have a cab from Illini Replicas, I'm not skilled enough to scratch build a cab. If I was to try that it may turn out looking more like a VW Bug with a fifth wheel than a International. Thanks also to everyone that has commented!!!
