  1. Looks great!! This is going to be an awesome build!! I'm curious. I see a lot of these winch set ups on model trucks, but am not familiar at all with them. Are these winches hydraulic drive or direct drive with maybe a pto and chain? I've had some experience with smaller winches on wreckers. Some were hydraulic, some were direct chain drive. Just curious.
  2. Looking good! This is one build that I would like to see more of!
  3. Thanks John! The tires are from Arrowhead accessories, the wheels are kit wheels from the parts box that I widened.
  4. Looking great! As far as looks go, I think that the suspension looks good where it is.
  5. Wow! And to think that it was totally built from scratch! Incredible work to say the least!!
  6. Very nice build!! The corn stalks are a nice touch!
  7. Cool project! What show in two weeks??
  8. Very nice work Sam!! I still really like the pocket knife!
  9. Wow!!! That is simply amazing work!!
  10. Now that's a truck!!! This may be my favorite build thread. This thing looks awesome!!!!
  11. This began as the Monogram Jeep CJ-7 kit. Then came the AMT Gremlin kit. The engine is a combination of both engines. The wheels are kit wheels from the parts box that I widened. The tires are from Arrowhead Accessories. It's had an axle flip and lift blocks added. I put it here, it's more of an S.U.V. or X.U.V. than a truck or a car. 12. This one is finished. I'm just waiting for a day that's less windy to take some outside shots. IMG_2018 by Brian Smith, on Flickr IMG_2017 by Brian Smith, on Flickr IMG_2012 by Brian Smith, on Flickr IMG_2019 by Brian Smith, on Flickr
  13. Excellent work on one of my favorite kits!
  14. It looks like this one is coming together nicely!
  15. This thing is looking Awesome! Very nice work!! The last order that I got from Auslowe took 3 weeks to process, then they sent me an email telling me that my order was shipped, then it took 3 more weeks for the mailman to get it here. I was very satisfied with what I received though and would order again.
  16. Thanks Guys!! Thanks Mike!! I had a real nice nice set of wheels that a nice fellow gave me, but I'm saving those for another project. These are actually kit wheels that I widened. I got the tires off of Ebay. I think that the company's name was arrow, but I'm not sure. Thanks Dan! I made a pipe bumper with the winch from the jeep kit mounted to it.
