  1. It seems that I'm always looking for the odd information as well. You might try asking the guys over at Hank's Truck Forum. Someone may even have some pictures....Just a thought? In the mean time I did have a 3406 service manual (if I can find it) if it would have any info. Hope you find what you are looking for....Brian
  2. Gooche is great to deal with on Ebay, and ships fast. You might go to Ebay and send her a message direct with any questions. I ordered a set from her on Ebay, they were usable, but pixellated. It was a copy of the old 352 Peterbilt set, The company door logos were not bad, the scroll work was not usable. Again it comes down to what you are looking for. I wanted only the door logos and they were fine at a decent price. I would order again from them.
  3. I really like the paint scheme and the progress so far. Hang in there, painting and I have a love-hate relationship as well. I'm sure that you'll get it worked out.
  4. Now that's a truck that looks like it means business!!! I Like!!!!
  5. Looking Good!! Got to love a Mopar!!
  6. I Like This Build!! Nice Work!!
  7. Cool Build!!
  8. It's pretty dark, old, and usually dusty, but it's home.
  9. I can't help but like this build. Really Cool!
  10. Very nice. Worked on my share of the 1:1. You have captured the 1:1 very nicely. Great Work!
  11. My kind of build! Very Nice! Excellent Work!
  12. Very Nice Work! Good clean build!
  13. Very Nice Build! Excellent work! I really like that trailer!
  14. I used to have a loader just like this one and gave it to my son because I was not satisfied with it and did not see the potential in it that Alain did. I just showed my son these pictures and he could not believe that this loader was once a diecast toy like his. He thought that these were photos of the real thing. Again, I say: EXCELLENT!!!!
  15. I know that I've said this before, and not to take away from the other great model builders on this forum, but your models are the most realistic models that I have ever seen. INCREDIBLE!!!!!
  16. I like this build. I remember many of the Trailmobile trailers having those distinct rectangle tail lights. I think that the smaller scale snap kit may have had them. Are you going to make those for this build, or stick with the style of the original kit. I'm only asking because I've wanted to try to recreate those myself, but never got around to it.
  17. Very Nice Build!!
  18. Two Incredible Trucks to say the least. Can't wait to see more!
  19. I love it when a plan comes together! Look Incredible!!!
  20. Very Nice Build! I used to maintain an 85 model just like this one, and even replaced the engine once and the transmission twice, along with a list of other things over the years. It belonged to a local electrician. He kept that truck so loaded that the DMV pulled him over and I was told that they weighed him at just over 12000lbs. I really never liked that truck, but your model is awesome! You have really captured the real thing.
