I always liked this body style. It's cool and different. Sort of a precursor to the El Camino/Ranchero. Years back, someone offered a couple of resin options. Don't know if they're still available though. I'd like to see the 37 Chevy/39 ford tooled up.
Saw this at a car show in Rhinebeck NY last year. This one could probably be kitbashed. Started life as a Dodge Magnum. Notice how they changed the contour of the rear roof line without any body mods. you gotta appreciate the body work, whether you like the end result or not. I think the front end works better then the rear.
I believe Collectible automobile did an article on the artist, who's name escapes me, a while back. I have original advertisements from National Geographic of the 60, 64 & 65 Bonneville framed in my hobby room. Cool stuff.
It's the March issue of Hemming's Classic Cars. There's also a small article on TV show cars, as well as an article in early race car aerodynamics, I believe 1917 or there about. It's a really good issue, check it out if you can.
