Grumpy's Toy IX 1972 Vega rebuild

Nice build Gerald. Those crabs look great. -
Wow, this is so cool. Excellent execution.

I like this. Nice job.

Thanks, but understand the side & rocker panel chrome is kit supplied. My chrome work was limited to glass/roof trim, fender skirts & top of the front fenders.

Is that the same chassis that's under the 26 T?

Nice foil work on this, beautiful color choice. Did you add the side glass, or is it original?

Thank you all for having a peek, and the kind comments.

Bit of a kit bash. Wheels/tires from the Revell California Wheels release 67 Chevelle. Engine from a Revell 05 mustang and front/rear seats from AMT 57 Ford. Twotone paint pattern inspired from searching the net. I would have liked the stance a little lower, but overall, happy with the final result.

Nice build, well done. I like it's not the usual red.I just picked up the fujimi version, ( mail rider from Japan), and it's missing the prancing horse for the grill. Would you know if Renaissance Offers one?

Hey all. First time posting a build. Revell 48 ford convertible. Fade always, grill/surround & bumpers from the custom coupe. Wheels/tires are modelhaus units. Exhaust tips are flared aluminum tubing, and the windshield was cut to fit from a bulk package of razor blades. Followed Tim Boyd's Recent SA article for better finishes. Best black paint job I've ever accomplished. Not perfect, but it came out pretty good I thought.

Coca Cola Kits ?

I picked this kit up for cheap on Amazon. I think it was a special run for a convention, but I'm not sure. -

Just stumbled across this. Staying 'til the end. So cool. -
What's better that's big ol' 60's caddy? Looks great? Love the paint.

Great job on this. That vinyl top looks perfect.

Yordan, I'm sure I speak for many when I say I've been waiting a long time for an update. I love this build. The attention to detail and your innovative ways are truly inspiring. If I may offer a suggestion. The human element needs to be represented. Subtle hints would be best. A rusty no hunting sign with barbed wire, a broken bottle, or something of this nature could only enhance an already impressive diorama. So I beg, please give us an update.

Billy Carter's Truck
Chuckyg1 replied to Brizio's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
I remember buying this when first released. IIRC, I got it half way assembled and put it away. After I left home, Mom figured I didn't need toys anymore and dumped this and abunch of other kits. Wish I he'd me back. -
Hah! Love this, well done.
