Suggestions for improvement. Hmm........ Nope, can't think of any. This turned out great. Really nice work.

I was in the stash looking for something else, and came across this. It was fully assembled, except for foil, for years. Can't recall how/why that happened, (I suspect it has something to do with my age). Anyhow, foiled it up and here it is.

Oh wow, this is so cool. My new favorite build. -
Wow, what a great build. Your attention to detail is astounding. My skill set is nowhere near ready to tackle this kit. Maybe some day. Wonderful throughout.

You put the freak in freakin' cool. Was debating attending the NNL this year. I have to now.

Nice build all around. That chassis looks killer.

My dad had one of these. Blue/white two tone. We were traveling through Greenwich, Ct when the brakes failed, straight into a toll booth. Everyone came out OK. Can't say the same for the car. Nice build. Color combo is great.

Nice job Michelle. As others have said, your skill set improves with each build.

This beast is ready for action. Nice homage to Joe, he'd be honored.

Nice & clean, love it. Is it O.O.B? I was thinking of using this color on an upcoming project, seeing it on your Merc has convinced me.

Looks great in this color. Got two of these myself, yet to be started. Is it the angle, or is the rear window missing.
-
Great color choice. I like the wheel treatment. Looks like a fun kit to build.

Quick build 4 years old. Tires/wheels are Hoppin' Hydros. Paint is Testors Dark Cherry Lacquer. Foil work could have been better, but it came out pretty good I think. It was a fun build, I could use a few more.

I've wanted to do something similar with mine. Thanks to your excellent build, I now know where to get the under carriage. Really nice work. I like it a lot. -
Wow, very understated and very cool.

Man, that's a funky little beast. Love the color.

I have a display case purchased from a gun shop going out of business and a diecast cabinet purchased years ago from "For race fans only." Inbuilt kits are kept in dedicated closet. -
Painting interior parts to look like cloth?
Chuckyg1 replied to crowe-t's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I use mainly craft store acrylics on interiors. They're flat, but you can add a semi-gloss over it, depending on the finish you're looking for. -

Is the silver foil an enamel? I believe Tamiya advises not to use it on enamel paint. -
