Wanted something different to build. Got this today. The body is multi piece. Anyone know if it can be assembled first, or will it complicate the build. Comes with a straight 6. Being an Opel, (1938-39), would the 6 be similar to a Chevy? Can't wait to start this.

Wow, very nice. Like the two tone combo. The interior looks really really good. How hard was it to detail the interior panels?

Yeah, like your choice of color. Very nice, clean build. I have this kit, but every time I look it over, I put it back. Seeing how yours came out is making me rethink this for a future project.

Found this languishing behind a gas station garage. BB 454/auto trans. 71 or 72 I believe. Inspection/registration good through 2021. Interior looks pretty trashed, front bumper separating from body. Spider web on front wheel, chipped doors, etc. Couldn't read the odometer. I'll take it! -
Well isn't this cool! This is well thought out, and the parts integrate really well. Nice concept wonderfully executed. Nice job.

Saw a Tesla the other day and the plate read YPUMPGAS. -

Nice clean build mike. Can't beat the classic red/black color combo. Looks great on your build. If I had this kit in the stash, the side pipes would have gone on my coupe.Yeah, the hood was a problem for both of us. Funny these where posted just days apart.

Thanks guys. Yeah Snake, I meant it could have sat a little lower. Aploogizes.

Original revell release. Paint is plastikote bahama blue. This kit went together pretty easy until final assembly. The rear window popped our 3 times! Almost became airborne at that point. Overall happy with the outcome, though I think the rear sits a little low.

I've had success with Rustoleum paint/primer. It too is better when polished. Here it is on a 48 ford custom over plastikote gray primer.

Don't have a clue as to the #'s, but it sure does remind me of Ice Road Truckers. -
Very nice work on this. Photography and background add to the realism. Kudos!

Now that its unmolested, it looks great. Smooth, sleek ,and low. Great color combo.

Hi, hope you're all well. I finished this up on Sunday, wanted to share with you. Paint is Rustoleum almond over plastikote, (by Valspar), white primer. I scratched the utility rack from styrene square. The hooks are solder. The ladder was made from toothpicks & coffee stirrer. The wood load is also stirrers. The tie down loops & "rope" are ship rigging pieces. The rear bumper was swapped with a parts box piece. The decals were quite fragile and a lot of time was spent piecing them together. Other than that, a great kit I had fun assembling. Thanks for looking.
