  1. Nice clean build mike. Can't beat the classic red/black color combo. Looks great on your build. If I had this kit in the stash, the side pipes would have gone on my coupe.Yeah, the hood was a problem for both of us. Funny these where posted just days apart.
  2. Saw this sweet ride leaving the doctors office.
  3. Thanks guys. Yeah Snake, I meant it could have sat a little lower. Aploogizes.
  4. Original revell release. Paint is plastikote bahama blue. This kit went together pretty easy until final assembly. The rear window popped our 3 times! Almost became airborne at that point. Overall happy with the outcome, though I think the rear sits a little low.
  5. I've had success with Rustoleum paint/primer. It too is better when polished. Here it is on a 48 ford custom over plastikote gray primer.
  6. Don't have a clue as to the #'s, but it sure does remind me of Ice Road Truckers.
  7. Very nice work on this. Photography and background add to the realism. Kudos!
  8. Now that its unmolested, it looks great. Smooth, sleek ,and low. Great color combo.
  9. Your paint work is awesome. Great all around build. its sinister.
  10. Hi, hope you're all well. I finished this up on Sunday, wanted to share with you. Paint is Rustoleum almond over plastikote, (by Valspar), white primer. I scratched the utility rack from styrene square. The hooks are solder. The ladder was made from toothpicks & coffee stirrer. The wood load is also stirrers. The tie down loops & "rope" are ship rigging pieces. The rear bumper was swapped with a parts box piece. The decals were quite fragile and a lot of time was spent piecing them together. Other than that, a great kit I had fun assembling. Thanks for looking.
  11. Suggestions for improvement. Hmm........ Nope, can't think of any. This turned out great. Really nice work.
  12. I was in the stash looking for something else, and came across this. It was fully assembled, except for foil, for years. Can't recall how/why that happened, (I suspect it has something to do with my age). Anyhow, foiled it up and here it is.
  13. Oh wow, this is so cool. My new favorite build.
  14. Wow, what a great build. Your attention to detail is astounding. My skill set is nowhere near ready to tackle this kit. Maybe some day. Wonderful throughout.
  15. You put the freak in freakin' cool. Was debating attending the NNL this year. I have to now.
  16. Nice build all around. That chassis looks killer.
  17. My dad had one of these. Blue/white two tone. We were traveling through Greenwich, Ct when the brakes failed, straight into a toll booth. Everyone came out OK. Can't say the same for the car. Nice build. Color combo is great.
  18. Nice job Michelle. As others have said, your skill set improves with each build.
  19. Make that Bob,my bad?
  20. This beast is ready for action. Nice homage to Joe, he'd be honored.
  21. Nice & clean, love it. Is it O.O.B? I was thinking of using this color on an upcoming project, seeing it on your Merc has convinced me.
