  1. When Polly's in trouble, I am not slow. It's hip hip hip, and away I go.
  2. Anyone remember Lancelot link, secret chimp? Live action with chimpanzees? Did Wally Cox voice Mr Peabody?
  3. Cool! Awesome weathering, and I love the beat up bed. Very convincing.
  4. Oh yeah. Couple of nice cruisers here. Perfect colors. I'd love to have a few of these. Nice pair.
  5. Awesome build. It just looks right. Perfect color, it really pops in the sun. Nice work.
  6. Very nice. Smoooth paint. Engine bay detail is just about perfect.
  7. Awsome! Everything about your build is on point. Really nice.
  8. Nicely done. The color looks great.
  9. Wow, very nice. Great interior work & I love the color. Which part isn't perfect? I don't see it.
  10. This was about 1972 & I was 13 or 14. There were woods with tons of trails down the street. My friends father was a county cop who moonlighted at a junk yard. If a decent runner came in, he'd bring them home to us. We ran a lot of cars through those woods. If it broke or wrecked, we'd push it off the trail & get another. I recall a 53 buick, a 62 Olds, a corvair & the car that was "mine", a 63 Belair wagon. Straight 6/3 on the column. Actual street driving was limited to getting it to & from home. Great times & a lot of fun.
  11. Let's see the mustang hiding behind the red one please
  12. Can only post one pick at a time for some reason. Some samples.
  13. I like to diversify. I initially stuck with hot rods & muscle cars. Still what I build most. But I do feel the need to do other subjects. Among these are; pickup trucks, semi rigs, (only two so far.). Tamiya & fujimi sports/race cars, station wagons, etc. One of my current builds is the ICM Opel Admiral. All this opens my eyes to different kit engineering, (multi piece bodies, etc.), and sharpens my skills. Lord knows I need that.
  14. Wow! Cool little ride. I like this a lot. Well done.
  15. I've always been a sucker for wagons. This one's on top of my list.
  16. Very nice. The attention to detail makes this come alive. I agree, great back story on the build. I built this kit years ago to replicate my late brother in laws car. Came out good, buts yours is much better than my effort. I seem to recall similar issues with the A pillars. Again, very nice build.
  17. Looked pretty good to start, but now it looks really nice. Love the weathering. Something I need to try. Very nice.
  18. Thanks all for your interest and responses. Greg, the upholstery pattern is a decal included with the suburban kit. Make life a little easier. Thanks.
  19. Yay! An update, FINALLY an update. Looking really good. I'm enjoying watching this come together. And.....I'm learning stuff.
  20. This the original issue. Went with flat black
