  1. Stewie's my favorite driver as well. it was a great race to watch, especially him & Denny bangin' & bumpin' at the end.
  2. Very nice. Those Impala lights look right at home.
  3. Registration/inspection/VIN tags, Bumper Stickers, Manufacture Labels for filters, shocks, mufflers, etc.
  4. Wow, that interior really pops!
  5. Sweet looking ride, I'd have to extend my garage. Question, if you don't do Christmas, why do you live in Bethlehem? Just asking
  6. I was 8 or 9, this was in the mid '60's. My dad was big into wooden ship models. I remember watching him soaking wood to shape in to hull pieces. God was that a lot of work. I guess I showed enough interest that he came home one day with an AMT kit & three bottles of paint. I (we) had so much fun building that kit. It looked like BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH, but I was so proud of what I did. I got another one for Christmas that year & I was hooked for life. I Don't remember the kit, but I'll never forget the time we spent building it..
  7. three years ago, my wife &I took a ride on this train. They're meticulously maintained & the "conductor" gave a nice historic presentation. A cool alternate from Having my car "Climb Mount Washington" and frying my brakes. If anyone's ever up that way & you have time, check it out. Thanks for bring back the experience.
  8. I'll have a Chevelle with a twist of lime please. Super clean build, very nice.
  9. Coming along nicely. Really love the dash work.
  10. I purchased a yard of plain white flannel from the local fabric store. It's cheap, you can cut it to suit your needs & in my case, lasts for years.
  11. I seem to remember someone mention here that one version had more parts than the other, but I can't locate the thread. If so, can anyone confirm which? Thanks.
  12. Or maybe canni-bus, I like that better.
  13. I think you should name it canni-bull
  14. It's nice to see one of these represented in stock form for a change. Clean build, love the color.
  15. I suspect Gru & his Minions have been using their shrink ray again! Really nice build, I like.
  16. Same here, I stick with the regular foil. It may have been improved. Anyone try it recently?
  17. Didn't the Sweathogs from "Welcome Back Kotter" have some funky looking mode of transportation in kit form?
  18. Quite convincing, really like it. I'm still on the fence about trying a Junker, not sure my skills are there yet. Is this based an the original tool, or the more recent issue?
  19. Beautiful, clean build. Nice job on this.
  20. You can also try "dollar "discount stores. There's one near me that has over stocked Duplicolor, Plasticote & Krylon paints @‌ $1.99 for a large can. They have primers, semi gloss & gloss colors. Gloss colors are limited, but for the price, why not. So far, I haven't had any issues with how they perform. These are independent stores, I've never seen any in dollar general or that ilk. Look around, maybe you'l get lucky.
  21. These came to mind first. '33 Packard 12 Series '49 Cadillac Sedanette '53 olds Fiesta/Buick skylark '57 Buick Caballero Eastate Wagon '70 Cyclone Spoilers '72 Gran Torino
  22. Great idea for a thread. I'm really enjoying this. Snake, you win hands down.
  23. Words can't describe the work & patients put into this build. Oh wait, I've got one; Masterful. I'm awe struck.
  24. Google tells me after racing, he opened a GMC truck dealership in the mid '60's. Still there selling Mitsubishi & UD trucks.
  25. Great job on this, really cool.I love old NASCAR rides, when men where men and you had to wrestle the wheel all day long. I currently live between Peekskill & Mahopac. Never knew there was a NASCAR connection so close to me. Fisher Bros is gone, I'll have to see if I can hunt down the garage.
