What did you see on the road today?
BKF replied to Harry P.'s topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
This is an older pic but I was showing it to a guy at work today so I figured I'd show it here while I'm at it. -
That looks pretty cool! I like the color choice.

Excellent looking Camaro. The wheels and tires look really good on it.

Looks good! I'd imagine a nice thing about the jeeps is the flat window glass being easier to fabricate. One of these days I'm going to print one of his kit and see how I do with it. -
Nice job. I agree, the wire wheels look good.

Nice job on the Camaro! Paint and chrome trim look great. I have plans on doing one very similar but with white stripes across the hood, top and trunk.

Thank you. I used the decals. I then brushed on a couple coats of QuickShine. Then I put on a few more coats of QuickShine mixed in with either a black paint or black dye. Not sure which it was but I made sure it would mix together. I was trying to slightly darken the decals like a window tint might do. Then I put on one or two more coats of plain Quickshine. In person it looks ok but really looks good on camara with the light bringing out the depth and shine.

Hello everyone. Here is my recently finished Revell 1981 Camaro Z28 painted in MCW 2084 Dark blue met. Interior is MCW Medium and Dark Blue interior semi gloss lacquer. Body is cleared with decanted Testors Extreme lacquer. The Testors Clear didn't do so well out the can and I didn't do much better decanting it. Although the test spoon I did the day before did great so I definitely need more practice airbrushing clear. I've got a few cans of the Testors so I'm going to try and use it up. I 3d printed the wheels and tires which I believe were from ZForcemodelworx and also experimented with designing and printing the arm rest. The glass had a decent twist in it and didn't fit very well so I glued it with ca glue of which I didn't like doing. I did get a small bit on the back glass but did the best I could to remove it. I also lowered the front end but left the rear as is.

Cool build and I really like the way all the chrome turned out. That grill looks good too.
