Can there be too many parts?
Dann Tier replied to Xingu's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I love all the parts......the more the better, but on newer cars where its almost impossible to see it all, it doesn't bother me if theres a lot or not. I use those kits as a way of taking a break from doing super detailed builds. To me, even though a kit has high parts counts, doesn't mean I have to even detail paint it, I've been known to just paint what can be seen -even with the hood/bonnet glued down. Even with Enthusiast Fujimi kits. Another good point to having a kit with tons of parts is that if you want to, you can glue the hood down and use the engine, or its unassembled parts for dioramas. -
OUTSTANDING!!!!!!

Thanks, Slusher!, we've been married for three years now, and I still cant get use to how involved she is in this hobby. she doesn't build nearly as much as we do, but she loves it. All of my past girfreinds could care less about this hobby, but not her. Like with our actual size Jeep, she wants us to put a winch on it, and says, "i don't care if we ever use it........it looks sweet!" -that's how she is, LMAO

First off, VERY nice job on this fiddly kit!!!, Second, the valve covers that come with the Drag-U-La are Mickey Thompson brand, and third, after looking at all the pics I have of the Drag-U-La (without the body on), it shows having the Mickey Thompson valve covers. HOWEVER, t.v. cars have a habit of being different every season, so the tiniest little things do change. When I build cars like these, I build it with the bits I like best from all the cars. And on a side note, I posted a build of my dragula that I built, with a fully detailed cobra motor out of a Revell Mustang kit........it will fit (very barely).

Wish I could send you my catalogue, they have 2-3 different types of plastic rods, tubes, solid square, hollow square, ext. they also have all the adhesives, and they tell you what is compatible with what. they are a HUGE architectural model company, so they literally have EVERYTHING. -

First time I've seen this kit built-up, other than the hood it looks nice to me! Q: did you lower the ride hight, or is that the way this kit came? I like it!, usually kits have to be lowered to get the right look. I like this build, keep up the good work!!

I can totally relate to the "wall" thing.......hate to admit it, but for the last 14 months I've been working on a Tamiya Ferrari F40, and both of those met the wall
