  1. Like to see a 70-72 Maverick!
  2. Looks really nice! If that was a quicky build I can only imagine what your builds look like when you take your time.
  3. Thanks for the compliments, I guess the only excuse for not wiring the engine is the fact that all my models are displayed with the hoods on in a wall display case. Yes I agree wired engines look fantastic, and I will attempt on my next builds. Just now getting more comfortable doing some foil work and painting trim after some 50 models.
  4. Yes they are seperate and like Tulio said they are quite difficult to get in position. I knocked the drivers side loose when I was putting the body on the chassis, grrrrr.
  5. Thanks everyone for your kind comments. I'm really liking this color, will have to pick up another can, maybe for a Cadillac. First can of Tamiya paint I had used and really like the way it went on. I don't get along well with BMF, don't know if I purchased an old sheet or what but I haven't had much luck with it.
  6. Hello everyone. Thought I would share my just completed Revell 67 Charger. When box art started showing up of the newest MPC 67 Charger I knew I had to get one, then I saw the REVELL kit and purchased it. Not my favorite Mopar body style but I could get very used to it in my garage. Built box stock and painted Tamiya Light Pearl Red which is fairly close to the factory color mauve " I think anyway ". Thinking about getting another one and keeping it stock without the race decals and painting it the same color. Thanks for looking.
  7. Very nice build. This kit is on my wish list but I sure wish Revell would issue one.
  8. Looking good. Loved my 68 Nova I had when I was 16. So many old cars I wish I still had.

  11. I think it it turned out very well, looks good.
  12. Very nice. Excellent details and paint! Please build us another one with bullet holes.
  13. Very nice. Just picked up the Monagram kit yesterday, can only hope it turns out half as nice as yours.
  14. Thanks a bunch. I'm on it.
  15. Simply AMAZING. Great detail.
  16. Now that's awesome! I could use help from the both of you!
  17. Very neat !
  18. Hey guys a need a little bit of help. I'm ready to paint my gas tank but I'm not sure if both tank looking things are tank or just the front or rear. It looks like the fill tube just runs to middle. Any input would be most helpful. The only pic that I've seen is with both painted but I just want to be sure.
  19. thanks everyone !
  20. I really like it. Turned out really well.
  21. Thanks Harry and Cobraman. Meant to put this under " Drag Racing Models ". Not sure how to move it.
  22. This Revell kit started out as a "Christine" Pro-Mod. Before losing all interest in building models my son finished the engine and chassis some 20 years ago. He allowed me to finish it so I got it done in late 2015. The kit decals were very yellowed and unusable so I decided to go with an Hawaiian theme from Slixx Decals. Painted with Testors electric pink. I learned on the drivers side not to use tape to hold windows in while the glue drys. Removed my Pledge Future and decal when tape removed, talk about a let down. So now it's only displayed from the right side. Also ruined the Mopar Performance decal so had to use the bikini express decal from my AMT Fruit Wagon kit on the right quarter panel.
  23. Very well done. Hood stripe looks fine. Really like the wheels.
  24. Very well done!
