If you've every taken your car to a car show, local cruz, or a Goodguys event, you know you are opening up your pride and joy to the scrutiny of all, and believe me you will get it, from bad to the overly enthusiastic. The best trick is to drive up, set up, then quickly move away. You then circle back a little later and listen to comments ( no one will know who you are and will talk away). Wounder what this guy would think about what he heard ?

  5. OK, I don't have have multipal copies of this kit, neither original or reissue, so I now have a kit full of usable chassis, interior, and engine parts I can use on other kits as well as the very nice set of wheels and tires I bought the kit for. Cost $25.

  8. Just go to a show or swap meet, anythings fair game,new,old,tank,ship, plane or car,plastic model,die cast,parts. books or toy. Mike Cholewa gave us a nice one here in Phoenix yesterday.

  15. PARMA also did a release of just the engines from this kit. The were "Y block" Fords, 292 or 312cid , both look the same from the out side and commonly confused as Chevy small blocks.

  17. Why not 1/8th ? Small block Chevys ( with lots of different intakes), flat head Ford, Pontiac , Also "Y" block Fords from the Lindberg "BIG" kits.
