Well then , here's the deal, First off, I'm talking about continuing the Monogram series, which is, indeed 1/24th scale. This will enable Monogram / Revell to use most of what they already have, chassis, engines, interior parts and what have you. Second, I'm not a scale snob so i really don't care what scale it is. Thus, just tool up a nice new chassis and interior for that old AMT hack.

I have to admit This was never something I was really interested in. But man, Talk about a box full of parts, Two Beautiful JoHan Fuel Injected Hemies.

Come on now, you gotta admit it, this just doesn't get the job done.

Hey, they even had a convertible in that series.

Seems to be the trend nowa days with 1:1 cars, spindle mounts, no brakes, goofy "Artillery" wheels, and even goofier torpedo style head lights not shown here.Then let's stick the out the side of the body, again not shown here.

Original was closer to 1/20th scale. New kit "Slingster" really looks tiny by comparison.

What's the best way to store these pens for long life ?

I don't think all magazines are done. I subscribe to Rodders Journal and find it always on time in my mail box safely packaged. Gues you get what you pay for. I also buy Hot Rod Delux at the grocery store, availability is a really nice feature.

But we're not talking production vehicles here.These are totally hand fabricated and by more than one shop in two different countries. Read Wayns post, or better yet the Daytona Book.
