  1. Well, this one's spiraling down out of control.
  2. Do they have the Molotow pens ?
  3. Got one today , Arrowhead Town Center store on Bell road they had 2mm & 4mm
  4. This is turning into a typical thread here on this board where so many deride the given facts, with rosey comments putting all concerns aside. Yep it's all better now, the problem no longer exist, not to worry.
  5. Bought some just for the body
  6. You don't have much of a stash You don't build older kits 40 years ? That;s a long time, 1977 ?
  7. From Spotlite board, "Due to severe weather" ?
  8. That's what I was thinking, without all the apologetic nonsense. Obviously the manufacturers can't , and no one would expect them to, do any thing about kits from the past. This is just where this problem exist and not knowing how the current kits will fare over time.
  9. Digging up some old kits, it's bad enough when you find the tires have melted into so many parts ruining them. Then there's the same problem with older built kits where the same thing has happened to the wheels. I've received tires from some resin companies that don't have this problem and are made of a material looking more like rubber instead of shinny plastic. Many companies have used other materials through the years but seem to have problems coming up with something that works.
  10. This is the old Monogram kit, 1/24th scale with some new custom parts.
  11. April Fools indeed. My heart's still pounding.
  12. Hey, you MOPILE guys, let's stick to the subject here, ok ? Flathead Fords Forever.
  13. "Little Deuce Coupe, You don't know what I got" Is the engine covered ? Full hood ?
  14. I was thinking about this the other day. I know it's been discussed before, but I feel there has never been a definitive answer. First thing I think we'd all have to agree the the the kit to use would have to be one of Revell's '32 Ford kits of recent release. Next up , what body style? Three window or Five window, no mention in the song, and that's where we're going to for reference. Fenders or no fenders? High Boy or Channeled ? Wheels offer another choice conundrum. I would think something "period Correct" I.E. Chrome Reverse, Cragars, Chrome slotted. Now we know it's a "Flathead Mill" but what induction? Three Twos. ScoT blower? What "Four on the Floor" are we gonna stick behind that bad boy? Ok, this is the sticky part, "Lake Pipes" , long "Show" type lake pipes would require the fenders to make it look good. or shorty stickin' out from under the frame kind could be interpreted. So show us what ya got. and no, this ain't it.
  15. Here ya go, or the American Graffitti kit
  16. Let me be the first to congratulate you here. Good job.
  17. If ya really gotta have one. Nissan did the same thing awhile back with their original 240Z
  18. Why isn't it for us to know? I find this quite strange when every other aspect of our lives is reported freely on a daily basis in all sorts of news media. Look at the Automotive press, story after story on the goings on in the industry, new products, the comings and goings of such. But little or nothing in the modeling press. Things that we are interested in, besides contest and how to articles, go unreported. Shhh, it's a secret , i can't tell you , only the elite few can know.
  19. That was worth the wait, good job on an old kit
