  10. "Too many pulls on the Mold" ? Those kits weren't that popular. If they were we'd see em all over the Ebay. I'm not buyin that either. Now, as far as popular, I think they'd go now. and as far as being "repurposed" many have and many have been put back together, that being what a bunch of now
  11. On the real 1:1 cars there is an adjusting feature on the end of the torsion bar. Back in the day this made it very easy to adjust the ride height either up or down, degrading the ride quality however, higher up, stiffer ride.

  18. That's right Keyser, that kit has quite the detailed racer type chassis.
  19. Just my opinion . . . I would keep the glue bomb just the way it is, a picture into the past. If you're really that jazzed about the '59 El Camino, buy a new kit. Don't have the money? Save up, it's worth it and besides you're starting with all new stuff, you'll love it. Got tons in my stash, a really great kit, full of all kinds of extra stuff.
