Top for this 55 Chevy
junkyardjeff replied to junkyardjeff's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Found out its missing more parts so probably will not be built. -
Anybody know what type of intake and carbs its supposed to have,I have no idea on where it went even though still having the box.

Well it's missing then. -
I was given this kit and thinking about building but is there a kit I can rob a top from, will also get rid of the Contental kit and put a normal rear bumper.
-
I built this one back in the late 70s and now going to restore it with 71 Duster parts to get a more detailed chassis and under hood parts. I need to find the intake and carbs for the hemi as I did not have the skills or tools to cut the hood open when it was built, need to come up with a Duster body for the inner fenders and maybe the interior.

The box art shows no bumpers but I did not want to cut the brackets off that old frame so it got the custom bumpers.

Monogram F250
junkyardjeff replied to junkyardjeff's topic in Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
Yes -
Started on it two years ago and finally finished, messed up a couple windows with too much glue but will have to do,as I was assembling it I noticed it came with 5 lug wheels so it got some resin 8 lugs I had in stock.
-
Picked up this early 40 assembled and going to build it as my take on the race version on the early box. Engine is a two four Y block, will most likely be the last build for the season.
-
I have a 69 I built back in the mid 70s I will redo but on it I will try to get the under hood area to look more correct.
-
Just finished the restoration of this 67,it did not have the correct engine so it got a 340 six pack.
-
I would like to get four more sets of the original 40 pickup stock rims and caps and took me a few years to get the three sets I have came up with so far. Does anyone know if anything close is made in resin,I really do not want to buy four 40 standard kits to get them. Now if the 40 standard kits had a hopped up flathead I might as I could use a few of those engines too,I have four Monogram 34 Ford kits I want to build into pre 1955 hotrods

Thanks for all the info, the deal on the 60s 36 did not happen but got some 70s version for parts and might have enough to build one but its been pushed back for now but will keep watch for a hopped up flathead for when it happens. -
Thrift store find that I finally got to,used a 340 six pack from the Demon kit since this one had the wrong engine. From what I have been told this one came with a slant six or a hemi.

Those Revell chassis's are a bit more detailed then what AMT provided and looks good under that sedan,I think I have a couple of those Columbia's somewhere and was wanting to put one on a AMT.
