  1. Did not realize its that old.
  2. Looks like another trip to the hobby shop next week.
  3. I have chrome pens but was wondering if paint pens exist,I am working on the Monogram late 80s F 250m and the moldings on the body would be much easier painted with a pen, I was at the hobby shop yesterday and forgot to look.
  4. I reviewed two in that batch of parts I got a couple years ago and this one is incomplete, going to see what I can build with parts I have in stock. Anybody know just what scale these are.
  5. I found a 340 on eBay and it's on the way,I did have a couple big blocks but none were complete and I prefer a small block for this rebuild. I did think about a slant six.
  6. I noticed the under hood panels were not anywhere near correct, not sure if I am going to get carried away and try to make it look correct but it's going to get a 340. I just remembered building a 69 back in the late 70s and all I think it had was a hemi.
  7. The six pack arrived today but will have to look for the rest of the engine, this 67 had a small block Mopar of some kind but have found out it came with a slant six or hemi. Will have to see what the 69 kit had for a engine.
  8. There is no mention of any engine on the box but the box art did have 426 on the car so thanks for the info,it had some kind of small block Mopar in it that after further investigation did not fit too good.
  9. I am restoring one and just got it apart,it looked like it had a 318 in it and had a 340 six pack sent to me and its too large. The engine is molded in red where the rest of the car is in white so it has the wrong engine, what engine came in the original 67 Barracuda kit.
  10. I got this body on eBay for parts on another one I built last year so I went back on eBay to get the needed parts to put it back together, for the engine it has the Dodge hemi from a model A kit but I put a 4 speed behind it.
  11. Let your friends know you build,I have a friend that finds models at thrift stores for me and had gotten me a bunch of 60s and newer built ones, guys in the car club also gave me some too and now models are starting to find me.
  12. I have never built a kit those engines came with, they came with that batch of 60s parts I got a couple years ago.
  13. Here they are,I added the 4 speed to the one.
  14. I have three partial engines and look to have a early Ford trans so I am curious where they came and can get pics when I get back home. One has two 4 bbl carbs and one has the remains of a injection system.
  15. It took me a while to find a unbuilt Monogram 34 Ford kit for a reasonable price to build, the same with the Monogram 36 Ford kits. I ended up buying a few partial 34 kits so I got enough parts to build one the way I wanted the unbuilt kits is still waiting to be built. It took me over a year on the 34 kits
  16. I did find some caps that are not for a deluxe so I might change them.
  17. This is a quick assembly of some unpainted I presume 1960s parts I had, since the body survived this long with no paint I did not paint it. I was hoping to polish it but I needed something to do while paint and glue were drying on other projects so it went together,it has the four cylinder from the roadster kit.
  18. I think I am just going to get the ambulance version that is out now to build my handyman work truck,I have to do some grinding and filling on the body to make it the way I want it and can just build what I want with the latest version.
  19. Should of left the hubcaps off and should of tried to find the standard caps off the Revell but did not think about it at that time.
  20. The 60s box has one on the side in a similar color so this one is kind of like my box art version.
  21. This is a restoration using half 60s parts, body, fenders and interior are 60s with a later chassis and engine. Since the fenders are from the sedan kit it's now a standard, engine is a 302 from the 90s F-150 kit. Was going to use a Lincoln engine but it was to big and would have required surgery but it had been painted.
  22. I am going to take the Ghost busters car and make it look like a retired ambulance turned into a handymans work truck so I am going to need stock looking hubcaps. Are there anything out there that will work.
