  1. I recently picked up this unopened kit up and built one around 1975,this one has a price sticker with 15 dollars on it and I know I did not pay that much for that kit in 75.
  2. Got this one today and looks like the engine was not improved, just like the original it's a Y block with FE looking heads. I will fix that problem with parts from the 57 car engine.
  3. Always wondered what kit it was derived from and it might get a big block of it ever gets taken apart.
  4. It's been around 1973 since the last time I had one and since it had 396 ci decals I figured it had a big block but when I opened the hood it had a small block, looks like false advertising. I did some investigation and they could have builds big inch small blocks back then but I think decals with 327 on them would have been more appropriate, back then I would not have known what it had but I sure do now.
  5. Picked up this one at a model show, built one back around 1973 and do hope this is a original.
  6. I think its supposed to be a 4 speed and was behind the big block that came with the kit,it was a easy swap and the exhaust manifold is from the Corvette kit.
  7. Picked up this DM custom 36 Ford missing the top and one header missing, going to use Monogram parts to fix it the way I want and I am tired of the SBC it has and will be trying to fit the 56 T Nord engine.
  8. They arrived the other day.
  9. It's almost done, need to find some door handles to fill the holes in the doors.
  10. I am running out of parts,do not have enough to finish another. I have some green bodies from the 70s but no interiors, small parts and hoods and maybe have one incomplete chassis so I am done unless I find more parts.
  11. This will be the last Monogram 34 Ford awhile.
  12. I had enough rough parts to build one more Monogram 34 Ford,it's mostly 60s and 70s parts.
  13. I got this Mack truck that is actually part of a phone, the phone is in the trailer but this one has gotten knocked off the table and the grille came loose and is now missing. The cat has probably done something with it and will probably never be found but anyone know of a B series in kit form or a toy I could get parts from. It's bigger then 1/32 and smaller then ,1/25
  14. The last one I bought there was around 2.69.
  15. Most are still liquid.
  16. The smaller bottles are Pactra and I found them in the mid 70s and actually used some and they were old back then.
  17. I do not remember them being that cheap.
  18. A while back I posted a picture of a bottle of Testors paint I had with 40 cents on the cap, today I got another load of models and parts and these were in it. Might see if still good.
  19. Hood is glued shut and the rear end is mounted to the frame with no springs but do have a unused bare frame and the parts model has all the suspension parts needed.
  20. Here is the one I am going to save, not sure on the direction but will most likey be a mild custom, the parts I have coming have a nice set of spinner hub caps and a tube grille.
  21. Picked up a big lot of built 60s models last year and this might be the last of the savable 40s and newer, picked up a partially built 60s 49 on eBay that should have all the missing parts and will post pics when the parts arrive. Next will be going through all the AMT 32s,Ts and As to see what is salvageable.
  22. I was shown that and was tempted but figured it was a scam as new releases going for 8 dollars was too good to be true.
  23. Might have to take a drive up there to see what they have, none that I know in the Dayton area have them.
  24. It had fell apart and putting back together,it is missing some parts and did find the exhaust in the big batch of parts I picked up last year but still need the glass for the windshield.
