Is this a model or a promo

Engine looks to be molded in but will find out when I take it apart. -
After I got the 63 done I remembered I had another and it turns out to be a 62 so it's on the table waiting to be worked on after I finished a couple others. It has some replacement parts from Modelhaus so it's been waiting awhile.

It was missing the original wheels so I found some chrome rims in that bunch of 60s parts I picked up last year to go on it.

After finishing the restoration of the 63 I remembered I had another but this one is a 62,this one has thicker axles and has a six under the hood but no emblems on the fenders. What is strange about the 63 is it has six emblems but has a V8 and has a Y pipe made into the chassis.

I found a color close to GMs fawn beige that I really wanted but it was 20 dollars a can so this is what I got.

The color is Tamiya champagne gold.

Color is Tamiya metallic orange.

It got paint today and will be a quick build,I wish it was 1/25 as it's kind of big and will look odd sitting next toy other builds

Was going for a mid 60s look.

They keep finding me and what have is a 60s body on the 70s chassis, going to see if I can put the Y block from the 56 T bird kit and not sure if I am.going to get rid of the 70s wheels. It's only missing the bumpers which I should.have and all bumper brackets are still attached.

I am working on a original 63 convertible that was built as a gasser so I am wanting to put it back closer to original. Did it come with the usual for that era SS hub caps or the more plane versions, did it also come with a up top or just the boot and I noticed it has six cylinder emblems but in the chassis it has a Y pipe for a V8. The engine that is in it looks original as it has a hole through the block and the exhaust pipes from the engine match up to the Y pipe on the chassis.

Looking for a AMT 63 Riviera box and does not have to be perfect.

1/24 Y block

I picked up a partially built 56 T bird for the engine, now I have to get another Monogram 34 to put it in. -
Now I am going to see if I can find a original box for it.
-
I think I still have some small parts that I had for over 40 years but that engine I used a couple years ago was the last of the larger parts I had for over 40 years I had since they were new. I have plenty of old parts mainly from the Monogram 34 and 40 pickups kits but someone else had held on to them for many years and I just recently got them.
-
I was hoping to paint this one but it was glued together too good so I left it black,I put another frame under it since most bumper brackets were broken off. This one got a 289 under the hood.

I just received two beer keg gas tanks the sender had for over 50 years,a couple years ago I finally used the optional Olds engine from the 40 Ford sedan in a 40 standard coupe I built with sedan parts. I built the kit it came from in 73 or 74. I had put that Olds engine in a few models that I pieced together with junk parts that ended up being used for parts but the engine I kept,it had so many coats of paint and almost got put in the trash since I had another that was not painted but since I had it so long it had to be used.
