  1. I can imagine the trunks in the later 30s coupes were wider then a 34 so I will have to cut on the body some, planning on using a model A bed.
  2. What I will make it from is a 3 window coupe and do like the ute but since my parts are on the rough side I am going the home made look,I have seen beds that slipped in the trunks so that is what I will try first.
  3. I have plenty of rough Monogram 34 Ford parts and got the idea of making a depression/,WW II home made truck. Thinking about cutting down the bed from a model A or similar era bed to go in where the trunk lid was kind of like some of those kits that were sold back then. Anybody ever build one.
  4. Looking for the stock engine parts for a project and all I have are the hotrod parts.
  5. After further investigation I do not know what I will do with it,I prefer a stock looking Camaro so it might get traded.
  6. I picked up a built original that has custom parts on it and would like to make it look stock so is there a newer kit that I can rob parts from or do I need to find another original for parts.
  7. Now that I think I have all of the 34s its time to start on the 36s,I do have the 60s version built in a coupe and convertible and back in the 70s built both the coupe and convertible in the early irons series. A few years ago I built what I thought was a 90s version of the coupe molded in a metalic maroon and do not think it was a early iron series,I recently picked up a early iron series 36 convertible thinking it was from the 70s but found out its from the 90s so am I missing any.
  8. It's the early iron series,I got it falling apart and did not put the side pipes back on. Was thinking about trying to get rid of the 70s.
  9. I presumed the black one was molded in black but after further investigation it has been painted so since it has the aluminum wheels its most likely the green version from the 70s,there is no green showing so its completely painted but the paint is cracking after looking very closely so it looks like I will have them all.
  10. Trying to get all the 34s from the original to the latest,,I have a few of the originals to the black coupe and the red convertible and have a couple ZZ top and chopped top 90s versions. I have the Thom Taylor chopped top convertible on the way and pieces of the green coupe so am I missing any.
  11. I have the red one waiting to be built, trying to build get all the versions of the 34 kits and I think all I need are the coupe molded in green. I have parts but not a complete one.
  12. I just picked up one on Ebay not opened cheap just to see if its still based on the early 60s kit and how badly it has been changed,I have built the ZZ top and 90s chopped top versions but never built this one since it had a severly chopped top I did not like. I have plenty of 60s and 70s parts to build it more to my liking so has anyone ever built this kit and how is it. Looks like it might be molded in a metalic blue too.
  13. Found the instructions for that 34 and yes only stock, that 34 and 36 boxes are close to the normal size so must be later then the flatter larger boxes.
  14. I have a 36 coupe/convertible box and instructions that shows stock only and I also have the 34 box and it shows only stock on it.
  15. I do have a unbuilt 34 kit waiting to be built,I had planned on doing a early 60s kit bash with all Monogram parts and ended up building it with all the extra parts I accumulated during collecting the parts but I will get to it eventually.
  16. I gave 30 for it on Ebay but since new kits are going for that and above its no big deal.
  17. I payed more then then what was on the sticker and thought it was a 70s kit but no big deal, last year I built two unbuilt 60s kits and was looking forward to build another 70s version but this one is close enough.
  18. I recently picked up this unopened kit up and built one around 1975,this one has a price sticker with 15 dollars on it and I know I did not pay that much for that kit in 75.
  19. Got this one today and looks like the engine was not improved, just like the original it's a Y block with FE looking heads. I will fix that problem with parts from the 57 car engine.
  20. Always wondered what kit it was derived from and it might get a big block of it ever gets taken apart.
  21. It's been around 1973 since the last time I had one and since it had 396 ci decals I figured it had a big block but when I opened the hood it had a small block, looks like false advertising. I did some investigation and they could have builds big inch small blocks back then but I think decals with 327 on them would have been more appropriate, back then I would not have known what it had but I sure do now.
