Yes I have thought about that.

The cab came loose so I can take it to the paint store and see what they can do.

This model has been painted back in the 60s and had a flatbed on it,I found a bed and would like to find a blue that will closely match and not really wanting to do a repaint since it was done very nicely.

After surviving all these years I did not have the heart to take it apart so the other project will have to wait.

Since its slightly larger it could be used as a 59 to 64 371 or 394,those engines were slightly larger then the 49 to 58s so now thinking on what I can put it in and thanks for the info.

I noticed it seemed a little big and thought it could be from Monogram.

I originally planned on using the rims and hub caps on another project but its too mice to take apart,its a original 64 version and thought it came in this blue but after so research found it did not and looked it over more closely.and yes its been painted. Was hoping to find a original bed but had this one from a 80s? version so it will go on,will sand the louvers off the tailgate and find some car tail lights. Now to find a match for the blue.

Got it it at at a model show yesterday and trying to find out who made it and how old it is. Would like to use it in a project using all vintage parts.

Having second thoughts about taking this one apart,might try to find a blue bed and leave it alone and look for another set of rims.

Just leaving the show and found a bunch of parts I could use and now on to the junkyard for 65 Galaxie parts.

Picked this up today and do not remember ever seeing a small rear window Beatle before,the front suspension has been glued in wrong and broken and is there a kit I could use for the front suspension and other missing parts.

I have a unbuilt Monogram 34 Ford coupe/convertible kit that I want to build as a late 40s style hotrod and use all mid 60s parts,picked up a 40 p/u from that era that will donate the rims and hub caps and now to find a hopped up flathead from that era and it will start. The 40 p/u will not be destroyed and would like to find all unused parts but used parts will have to do.

Starting to look like a Falcon under the hood,the shock towers I used are not the most detailed but to me looks much better. Next is the core support.

I had one but traded it for parts I needed to finish a build.

Last week I was given a six from a Johan Maverick that would be perfect for the 60 Ranchero so I got,now this week I was given some Chevy sixes so time for more. Two look to be from the 60 Chevy p/u and one is from the 50 p/u and the other looks to be from a 53/54 Corvette. The incomplete 60 engine will be going in a SMP 60 ElCamino that I will be using a 59 chassis and since the hood does not open it will be perfect,the other 60 engine will be going in a Revell 57 Black widow kit to make the cheapest 57 Chevy and the Corvette engine will be going in a 39 Chevy sedan delivery I built years ago. If this keeps up I will have projects that will go on after I retire.

Thanks and will look for a 67 junker to rob the parts off of,anything is better then what I have now. The first two 60s I built I did not care but now would like to make a little more accurate.

Since I am putting a straight six in it I would like to put a more correct firewall and shock towers in it so is there a Mustang that could be a good donor.

That kit should of had a six or a optional 260 or 289 and not what it came with.

Yes iIwill be there and just what kit could of had this engine as I would like to find more.

Picked up a small car Ford six so I had to get the Ranchero,I was hoping when this kit came back out it would had a more correct engine but it did not so I am going to build it the way it should be.

Its on,really wanted the George Montgomery version but beggars cant be choosey. If it has the stock hub caps I will be very happy.

This sickness includes real cars too,I have many parts that I am looking for cars to put them on.

Picked up this Ford six so time to find a Falcon Ranchero to put it in,right now I am at a car show so on the way home there is a hobby shop that usually has them. I need to quit doing this since I have years of future projects.
