  1. I just want to say thanks to all I have dealt with on parts and trades,if not for you I would still be looking and I hope I can be of help too.
  2. I will have to see what I can find, might have a pair of Monogram 40 heads and can see if I can get two more.
  3. I was hoping to find a set of finned heads,I do have some flathead intakes that I can cut up to make a multiple carb intake.
  4. Since the Monogram 41 Lincoln I grabbed from the attic is missing a hub cap so I am thinking about lowering it so it tje rear caps will not be seen, and while I am at it could hop up the V12 so did anyone ever cast any speed equipment for that engine or will I have to make them my self. I could see if I can get some 1/25 50s engines to swap in.
  5. Bought this one about 10 years ago and will be built soon.
  6. I originally built it around this time of the year in 1974,built it in the molded black and a few years later repainted it in silver and shortly later went back to black. It got put in the attic at some time and then the hood warped and that is where it stayed for over 30 years. Went to a model show today and found a hood so out of the attic it came and the noticed it was missing the spare tire and one hub cap,its been moved from box to box over the years so I hope I still have the parts. Hood will be painted to match and reglued along with some detailing and that is it.
  7. Here is the ex highway department truck, front suspension is a little too high in the front so I will fix that and try to see where the window wing part fell off at. Got some rims painted yellow and need to find some correct looking small hub caps.
  8. I found a yellow that looks like a fleet color so that is what it got.since I found a F 250 that I want to use the 8 lug rims on this one is going to stay a half ton. To make it a 3/4 ton it would jabe required some surgery on the chassis but it had been painted.
  9. The bed has it too so I am now thinking of painting so its not going to be a minimal paint build now,it now looks like when I build the 1963 34 Ford kit that will be the one that will be minimum paint.
  10. Do not know if it can be seen in the picture but something happened to the color when it went through the mold and its all over the cab but the rest looks good.
  11. The color on this body is just not consistent and just looks cheap,I have a few 60s and early 70s kits that were not painted and they look great. I was hoping to do a lazy build but might not happen,I will post pictures of the body tomorrow of where I have concerns.
  12. This time of the year I have issues painting in the basement so this is will be a build while paint and glue are drying on the other two but after looking over the body I might have to paint, the color is not that great like on 60s and 70s kits.
  13. I got the Monogram 90s F 250.and since its molded in color I am seriously thinking about building it that way like I did when I was a kid and did not have any money for paint, engine and chassis will be painted along with some detailing under the hood and interior but that is it. Anybody ever done that lately.
  14. I have the kit that is lime green and white on the box.
  15. The flip nose kit looks a little cheesy but not sure if I have all the parts, since its supposed to be a gasser I was expecting a straight axle but it has the stock front suspension.
  16. It looks like I will have to go resin to get a correct six for the Falcon Ranchero I want to build, some how I ended up with a Pontiac half 8 and need to find something to put it in and do have a Lindbergh slant six for my next Dodge truck project.
  17. I have two versions.one is with the tilt front end and the other is the street machine version. I am wanting to build a sleeper version using a Caddy or Olds engine but neither has a stock hood,I will most likely just fill the hole in the hood on the street machine version but was it ever offered with a stock hood.
  18. In the UK was there any model manufactures making kits of the vehicles not exported to the states, there is a mid 50s Commer cabover I would like to build and would like to have the real thing too
  19. Let the Bus Grease Monkey know they are made and they might sell a bunch,if anyone does not know about him he has one and likes to work on those old buses and has videos on You tube.
  20. I would like to see a 2 and 4 door waging (non Nomad) or a sedan delivery.
  21. I would like to get that kit for the lowered suspension.
  22. Never knew this kit was made.
  23. I will probably never build it and thinking about keeping the suspension off of it.
  24. The one thing I did not like about this kit is no gas tank like a 32 should have,I took the tank off a AMT to make it look a little more correct.
  25. I have a 72? Mercury Monterey that I will one day do something with when I get bored.
