Did not know MPC made one and thought it was a AMT.

So is it a MPC.

I will start posting on a build thread when the parts arrive,not sure what I will do about a engine since it does not have a opening hood. Thinking about using a six since the top will not be seen and will not need the correct valve cover and air cleaner and I have a few of them.

I will make something work

Found a new chassis and interior on ebay and its on the way.

I have a small local hobby shop that deals with rebuilders and will see if I can find one of those before buying a new kit,he also sells parts too so I will check with him next saturday. If he has none then I will get a new kit.

Is the 59 kit readily available.

That batch of parts had a body and wondering if the parts from the 2 door sedan could be used to build it.

That is what I got but mine is missing the carbs.

As for the 57 Olds I found a 1/24 diecast 57 race car I forgot I had and might think about making it look stock or a hot rod if I could ever find the time.

This must be a 62 engine as the manifolds are made with the block and yes the hole is on the large side.

This was in the batch of stuff my friend got me and I have never seen it before,if I can get a hood and tailgate it might get rebuild as a 3/4 ton.

A friend gets me all the model stuff he can find from the thrift stores and on the latest batch that had the 60 El Camino body was a straight six,I first thought it was a Ford six with the front sump oil and since the carb was on the drivers side I thought it was a 64 and earlier 223 but the oil filter is not in the correct location for a Ford 223 so I think it could be from a Chevy II. It has a hole through it for the metal axle and the automatic trans looks to have a manual bellhousing.

Picked up this 60 Elco body today and wondering who made it and what can I use for a donor to rebuild it,sorry for the crappy pics but I think my camera is starting to wear out.

It runs and has went around the block,even with a good brake pedal nothing happens so everything is froze up.

I found a box in the trunk with two reproduction parking light lenses and two NOS tail light lenses.

Gave it a quick bath and found that the crank pulley and most of the bolts for the front of the engine are missing so a trip to the local old junkyard will happen soon,rear springs are sagging and found the old springs from a 65 Country Squire I had a few years ago to put in it.

Now that I have the real thing I would like to have the model or will I have to settle for a promo.

My 65 custom 500 just needs too much body work that I do not want to do so I bought this 65 Mercury that only needs quarter repairs,it has a fresh but never fired 390 and has a unusual 3 speed on the column with overdrive. This is going to be the old car I drive on long distance trips.

There is one like mine in another color that they think is worth more.

That 32 Caddy I got must be the common one made,seen a sedan and a 2 door convertible that the sellers were wanting way more money. Both of them had a starting or BIN price over 200 but I got mine for less then 25.

This arrived today.

Got a Danbury mint 32 caddy off ebay and will post pics when it arrives,not exactly what I go after but got it cheap so I could not pass it up.

If there is a 97 and up p/u or 92 and up crown vic kit made they would have a more modern trans then a AOD.

I noticed it did not look quite right but will give it a try,I got the switchers to look a little better so I will see what I can do with this one but probably will not be until fall when I can get to it. I am going to collect needed parts for it over the summer.
