Looks good. for information purposes here is an attachment that explains safety wire. How too, what sizes and aviation requirements. Page 4 is a visual on how to do different sets of bolts. 10-3.pdf -
It's the "Bowtie" in your profile pic that's throwing you off.

Guessing a "K&N" style air cleaner element

Trying to keep it non-political. The profile https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muhammad_Ali says so much. Make sure you read the part about later beliefs (approx 1/2 down the page.

Its good to see that we are on the same page. I currently have two "Classics". A Model A and an 84 Mustang GT350 20th anniversary edition. They both use 1-3 tanks of gas per YEAR (its hard to keep everything going since I still work full time). The Model A burns the same type of gas it was designed for and the Mustang has no cats. In some states they would both be confiscated and destroyed. I'm OK with this if the people of the state voted for it. There should be no Federal laws concerning this issue. This is a state issue and if the people in a state want it fine, just leave the rest of us alone. A war was fought over things like this.

Some states are trying to push legislation that using any "Non production" parts on cars will be illegal. The problem is that the law does not limit itself to Emissions. It is ALL parts. This could be pushed to mean tires, wheels, air cleaner elements etc. This is a little different from what the EPA is doing but it leads down the same path and will come to fruition before people realize. Along that line the EPA is a non elected group of people that are writing "Laws" that impact all people. This is unconstitutional and should be dismantled. Do they do some good? maybe, but the harm done can be argued also. Catalytic's came into being in the early 70's so modifying cars that are 40+ years old is illegal.

Best pic ever was in Car and Driver ( I Think I have the right mag). It was a Delorean with a "Things go better with Coke" bumper sticker on the back. -

Anyone else have going bald, hard to hear and can't see worth a flip? Must be due to the fact we used to play with Mercury in science class (until it fell off the desks and shattered into millions of pieces) and torched all the Magnesium ribbon we could . -

Those are the ones that you were supposed to throw on the ground (or against something) and they would "snap"? -

I have one at my work desk that has our company name/logo. Not sure how old it is but we only make two airplanes that I am aware of and it looks nothing like either. Its never been flown and I'm afraid of crashing it. -

Yep! than there were singles that you could put in the metal "Bombs". You threw them as high as you could and when they hit they set of the cap. We would always have one throw them up and the other person try to catch them. Oh to be young and stupid again. -

anyone ever play with the balsa wood airplanes? They used to last about 5-12 flights before you broke something on them and the wouldn't fly again. Also the original paper caps. You could open a bunch of them and make a little gunpowder pile that would go up like the old flash on plate camera's. -

looks great! might need a spark advance lever if you try to crank it up though. ? -
Talked with the person who brought the plane back. It was found in an old farm building where it was hidden so the Germans could not get it when they overran France. As stated he wanted it for the engines alone. The engines are in "continuation" or "replica" cars now. The original airplane is hanging at the EAA museum in OshKosh, Wisconson. Here are a couple of great videos.

And this is why the poor kids (like me) would play "Half rubber". We took the thrown away balls and made a new game
