  4. i reached out to Jerry this evening as he is a friend and found out that GoDaddy changed one of the platforms he was on and wipe his website out. thats why the site looks different with the new server. and it will take him weeks to get everything back on the new site ..
  5. yes they will..they do not snap together they just slide together..i learned the hard way as i was painting a truck cab (with the smaller one) turned it upside down and it came apart..thats the only down fall. they should have made it snap together or screw together. but its a easy fix if u buy it (i love mine) glue it together with some super glue. thats what i used..no more problems.... now i only glued the small one that has the adjustable wire settings on top.. thats the one you gonna be turning upside down..
  6. i have had mine fo many years...u can get them from...Amazon, eBay, Hobbylinc, Tower Hobbies, Tamyia sells them direct since its their stand...hobby lobby do sell them must have been out..just about any hobby shop will have them .. Amazon probably your cheapest.... https://www.google.com/aclk?sa=L&ai=DChcSEwiujMTFws_0AhWTK0wKHQThCl0YABALGgJvYQ&sig=AOD64_3Ed_WONCwdNmPxl5-m-A9ueLJwEQ&ctype=5&q=&ved=2ahUKEwjJ8LjFws_0AhWNl2oFHdj1AfkQ9aACegQIAhBH&adurl=
  7. should look great Dan..Gary cast great parts..
  8. looks great..
  9. i think it will look way more better on a old Mack DM600
  10. nope never heard that before..i used Walmart brand for many years till they quit making it ... now i will use Rust-Oleum 2X Ultra Cover Flat White Primer...white paint has always been hard to paint over a dark surface anyway... another thing i have learned (and i picked this up from aircraft builders) is prime white then paint with a flat white then clear coat..a gloss white is so hard to spray , but a flat white with a clear over the top is not..
  11. why did you use a silver primer over a grey ? ...that was a big waste and a mastake... u should have just primed with some flat white, then sprayed your gloss white on. then u would been all good..
  12. i did the swap years ago with no problem at all.. you may have seen it Cal Max or at one of yalls shows..i finally gave it to the CEO of the Co here in LC..
  13. 91% or 99% Isopropyl Alcohol should do the trick..
  14. very nice build..
  15. if it been put together with testors glue then i have had great luck redoing glue bomb removing the paint with Easy Off Oven Cleaner name brand yellow can. it also had attack the glue and broke loose the parts
  16. i use Micro Set Solution from Microscale. most hobby shops have it or u can google it and buy it on line..of course first thing u do is soak your decal in warm water a few seconds till it slides on the paper backing . with a paint brush dab a little Micro Set where the decal goes and slide it on. brush more on to the top of the decal. let set a minuet or so . u may see bubbles or curling around the edges. now take the brush and dip it in water and go over the decal...now get u a parer towel and lightly press down on the decal soaking up the water. by now the decal should be setting..but i always like to brush more Micro Set and press the decal a few more time to make sure using water in between also..let set 24 hrs then u can take a damp cloth or paper towel and wipe all the excess Micro Set off before u clear coat . and remember if u do clear coat make sure the body is clean. i use air in a can or a tack cloth .
